So is there some song that you sing the wrong lyrics to?
I was just singing the song by Pussycat Dolls- When I Grow Up. I realized that they were not singing that "I wanna have boobies."

When we were younger, my cousin thought the Jodi Watley song "Don't You Want Me" was saying "Jodi Watley...like I want you". We just let him sing it like that and look like a dork in public.

I can't remember what she sang instead, but my best friends girlfriend always got wrong the lyrics to Panic! At teh Disco. It's "testerone boys and harlequin girls", so you can only imagine what she came up with, lol.

DH and I constantly battle eachother on lyrics! lmbo. Like, we'll go, what? What did you think it said! You're SO off! and then we have to prove eachother and go look it up. I remember my sister used to think that Alanis Morisette song Head Over Heels said "You've already run me over" This was the pre-computer era in our household and she was insistent that it said this! I've noticed sometimes when we get mixed up on lyrics it generally is what would have made more sense. And then sometimes it's like, are you serious? Why would it even SAY that you freako?

i was listening to an early morning talk back radio segment on this topic. SOmebody rang in with the song "Be the love generation". The callers mum had been singing "Feel the love little asian"...hahaha it does rhyme! We have always sung it like that ever since. In fact on the way to my best friends wedding when she got nervous, thats what we started singing (loudly and off key) to make her laugh! lol

Remember the song The Heart of Rock and Roll is Still Beatin'? - when I was a kid (and now I do it cuz it's a little funny) I thought the words were The heart of rock and roll is Topeka.
(No. I have NO idea why I thought Kansas would have the heart of rock and roll)

LOL me too. I always wondered why they were giving out directions. Like were they in the middle of the song and someone asked where the bathroom was. Or were they just giving everyone a heads up?
