I am off to attempt to dig up a flower bed. I do NOT garden. hehehe But Des has been after me to rip up the grass that is growing there, and the weeds, so he can lay down some landscape fabric so we can attempt to have a nice looking garden with a few flowers and some mulch/bark nuggets. Weeds and bugs are not my friends. hehee

Any helpful pointers out there???
 
Ha! Have fun. I don't garden...I'm lucky that someone at some point in this house decided to plant perennials all around, so I don't have to think about it. I don't weed, either...just let it grow, let it die...looks purty and I don't do anything. LOL!
 
Advice: Hire your old lady next door neighbor if you have one, lol!

I seriously don't garden either! I personally think that weeds are beautiful (well not really, but my "flower" beds think so!). sighhhhhhhhhh.
 
I don't garden either...we have some daffodils, violets and lilies that come up annually, but all the weeds and stuff that grow in between stay there. LOL
 
well, I started digging up the grass and top soil, pulling the grass out. But ewww, I hate worms and ants. lol I have to be careful too, cause there are three really pretty flowers that grow in the garden annually, that I really want to save.
