Hey guys!

Just checking in from a dumpy little hotel. I haven't had power at my house for 24 hrs now. Blech. At least this place has wireless. LOL!

I don't know what the plan is for tomorrow, so if you don't see me around for a day or two, you'll know why! :D
 
oh yuck Libby! It stinks to be without power this time of year huh? Did you have storms or something come through? Hope it comes back on soon!
 
Yeah Libby, did you get bad storms or is this from the weekend storms ? I hope all is well with you and you get your electricity back soon.
 
OH wow! So sorry about the electricity! At least you have a/c and wireless at the hotel! I am crossing my fingers for the power to come back up soon!
 
Oh man Libby!! I hope you get it restored soon. Geez what a pain.

That happened the night before I left my grandma's house. A tornado came through and wiped out the power for 26 hours. It was a HUGE pain.
 
i feel your pain, Libster. Last August we lost power for several days. fortunately it was not hot. the kids actually look back on that time fondly. Probably b/c mommy wasn't on the computer!

hope you get your power back soon!
 
uggghhh, that's rotten! I'm sure your daughter thinks it's so cool, though, lol. When I was in elementary school and my friend's house burned down, they lived in a hotel for a couple of months, and I thought it was soooo cool!

Oh that is awful! We lost power for a week four years ago when Hurricane Charley hit us, that was the longest we'd been without. It is just awful, we had to stay in a hotel too because the heat was unbearable. It REALLY makes you think about how much we take for granted, doesn't it?!
 
Thanks everyone! It did end up coming back on while we were at the hotel. Thank goodness! It was so nice to sleep in my bed again last night and to get ready for work in my own bathroom this morning. LOL!
