DS2 will be playing in a semi-final baseball game on Saturday and if they win they will play in the Championship game on Sunday!!!

He has never been on a team that has done this well in the 5 years he has been playing so this is a HUGE deal for him. With the record of wins they had this season they finished in 2nd place in the standings, they came back from 4th place just 5 games ago to get there too!!!!

If they DO make it to the championship game they will most likely loose (hate to say that but the 1st place team is REALLY, REALLY good). That will not matter to these kids though, just making it to the "BIG GAME" will be reward enough!!
 
i will wish your son lots of luck!!! don't underestimate your sons team, they made it this far...haven't you ever heard of the mighty ducks?!?!

That is a really good point Lizzy.....The team they will play gets really cocky and the head coach is kind of a jerk too so I guess ANYTHING can happen!!!!!

i totally see a mighty ducks moment happening! the cocky coach...the whole thing. =) yay...will be cheering on your sons team!!
