Hi there! I've been browsing around this site and forum for a couple of weeks now, and thought it was time to say hello and join the crowd.

My name's Rebecca, and I'm not new to digital scrapbooking. I "discovered" it early last year sometime. I took a break for a few months, but now I'm ready to get going again. And I really like what I see here. Especially the challenges section of this forum.

Here's to hoping to making some new friends and adding to my scrap supplies here! :)

OK, I have a question already.

Since I'm not new to digital scrapbooking, I have already managed to collect kits, elements, brushes, etc. obsessively. None are from SSD (yet, anyway!). I do have some things from Misty Cato and Kay Miller, who I see are designers here.

Am I welcome to post layouts for challenges, even though my papers and embellishments may not come from SSD designers? Or should I wait till I can post layouts that are created completely with SSD items?

As to challenges, you're welcome to use any designer's stuff providing it is for a challenge. =))

To answer your question...for challenge layouts, you can use ANY products and post them to our gallery. For non-challenge layouts, though, we ask that they use something from SSD designers. :D

(PS, we WISH Kay was a designer here...she was but only for a couple weeks, we're TRYING to convince her to come back, hehehe...she IS one of our "Sugar Babes" though, so one of the CT members here at SSD)

SSD only for non-challenge layouts only.
Any designer for challenge layouts.

Thanks for such a warm welcome! I really like that this is such a small community of people. It's so easy to get lost in the shuffle some of those other sites, especially when you can't visit the forum every day. :)

Welcome!! I'm pretty new too and people are very friendly around here! And regarding your comment...not SSD only for non-challenge LOs, just something from SSD has to be on the LO. It can have stuff from other designers as long as there something SSD on there. Right gals?

doesn't have to be SSD ONLY for a non ch LO :) Just as long as there are some SSD goodies on your LO

**ETA** haha sorry Megan didn't mean to repeat what you said..I obviously missed your post but you were right :)

and hahahah @ your siggy Megan..mine is opposite I hate hate hate being called MEEEEEEgan or Mayyyyygan mine is MEG (as in peg) an (but I also have the added H haha)

Hahaha! Yeah, annoying, huh? I'm surprised people have called you Meegan... I've met maybe 4 people in my lifetime who had heard that pronunication before!
