ABCs

I am creating an ABC book for my daughter, and I am stuck for X and Z. I am using pictures of her as much as possible, and a few I just took a picture of an object in our house. I don't a photo that is obvious for zoo as a Z word. Any one here create a book like this or just have a good idea for X and Z?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

What about using the X from a word like eXciting?

As for Z, if you don't want to do a zoo one or don't have photos for that, how about zealous?

Do you have a photo of her with stuffed animals? You could use zoo for a photo of that. Or if you have her in a black and white outfit, you could use the word zebra.

In my son's book we did 'Xtra Special' and put in a picture of him. Alternatively you could use XL and put in a photo something oversized.

For 'Z' we did 'zoom' and used a race car.

oh the stuffed animal zoo is a cute idea.

if you have a pic of her sleeping -- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. eta: oh guess that's not really a word though, huh?

I've been wanting to do an ABC book for a while but just haven't even started thinking about what to do with it. I should get on that. Oh that's another thing added to the list.

Well, if you really want to use "X" as the first letter , you could use the word "xanthic". According to the dictionary this is the definition - "of or pertaining to a yellow or yellowish color". I always google things when I am looking for weird stuff, :)

LOL - I'm trying to imagine a preschooler with a vocabulary that includes the word xanthic.

I did an ABC book in March... X was "x's and o's" and z was "zzzzz...." (had a pic of her sleeping). Y was yawn so it went well with Z. Here's a pic. The upper right photo was my xyz page.

Alright, I have A-U finished, you can check out my gallery here - https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/inspiration/showgallery.php?ppuser=484&cat=500

I like Zipper for Z Meghan, still not sure about X...

Ok - let me just say I think you are amazing for doing this project! at 8.2 months, I was absolutely miserable and could not concentrate on anything for more than 20 sec.

My son's Apple to Zucchini book, which has been read a bazillion times, has X is for Xigua, which is spanish for watermelon, if you have cute watermelon pics you want to include...and he can say something closer to xigua when he wants watermelon than watermelon, so it works for us.

X for xylophone is a great idea!

I did X-men for X for the one I did for DD. LOL! I just had her hold the movie.

For Z, I did Zebra, just used a picture from the zoo. I actually used some of her little people animals for other letters and thought about using her toy zebra for that.
