Sorry to hear that- those darn jolly ranchers!! I chipped my tooth on a baby carrot once!! Well, it was one of those fat ones and I bit into it too fast and hard! I know how you feel, it's frustrating :glare:

Well... I guess the biggest question is... was it totally worth it? I mean what flavor was it? If it was like a peach one... meh... but like a cinnamon or watermelon...

totally worth it.

I'm so sorry! Here is a funny story though that will maybe cheer you up.
This past Christmas a friend of mine brought over some candy and fudge she made. Well, my husband has a 5 way bridge and it had been a little loose for him for awhile( which I didn't know until later)well... I tell him how good the peanut butter fudge is and how he simply must try it ;) He takes a big ol' bite and out comes 2 of his teeth along with it. They were the 2 right by the 2 front teeth so very visible. Oh My Goodness:blink: it was the craziest thing. It was a Saturday and our daughter had her Christmas play and everthing the next day at church. I was going crazy. My husband kept telling our 3 year old little boy that now he looked like Mater (from Cars movie. Our son loves Cars!). He wasn't buying it though. Thankfully our dentist came to his office and fixed it for him right away. We all decided that day that we liked daddy much better with teeth:thumbup:

Hope you get it fixed soon. Glad it doesn't hurt!!!

ACK! As a dental assistant, I can tell you that jolly ranchers are from the devil. LOL! They are the WORST things for teeth. I've even got my daughter trained that if someone gives her a jolly rancher, she just throws it away. LOL!

Sorry you chipped your tooth! Hopefully it's just a minor little chip, and they can smooth it over without having to add a filling or crown. :)

Feelin' your pain...had a root canal yesterday.

And Jolly Ranchers are just evil (but the watermelon and the cinnamon ones are GOOD)...I once bit down on one and couldn't get my mouth to open back up...and when I finally did, the cap on one of my molars came off. Course I was maybe 10 at the time LOL...but I've never done that again.

Ow! Can't you buy the chewy Jolly Ranchers? Maybe that would be better in the future LOL

I hope you get it fixed and it's not too hefty a price tag!

I beg to differ, Fizz.

If there was a David Cook flava, it'd be worth the 100 smackers. ;)

THIS IS ALL MY FAULT!!!! :( If I hadn't invited you to my mom's party then you wouldn't have been tempted by the evil Jolly Rancher and none of this would have happened!
Honestly, though, Liz. I'm so sorry for this nonsense with the tooth. It totally sucks. :(

Boo on Jolly Ranchers!!! Booooo!

i just got back from the dentist putting on my temp (the earlier visit was just a consult) and after insurance and my deductible this tooth is gonna cost me $400 total. wow!!! talk about an expensive lesson learned. i guess i won't be upgrading to a dslr camera like i wanted this month. i don't even love jolly ranchers! this is non-sense, but you know there is a lesson to be learned. i need to learn to roll with the punches. look at poor sarah and her dear sister. i've got nothin'. this pity party is over, over i tell you.
