New here from Central Fl

Hello all!!

I decided to come see what all the fuss was about. :D I've been hearing on DST about how great this place is, so I had to check it out for myself. I haven't checked out the forums yet, but saw some kits, and wow!! :thumbup: I can see why everyone likes it here! So, here I am joining in.

My name is Brooke. I've been scrapping about 7 months or so. I really love it, it's about all I do in my spare time, which is sometimes sparse. I'm married and have three kiddos - two girls 9 & 7 and a boy who is 1.

I am on two CTs, and I'm looking for one or two more, they are so much to do. I hope to make some friends here, and get to know you!

Welcome Brooke! :) I lived in Central Florida too (Citrus County to be exact). I miss it there so much!! Glad to have you join us! This place is SUPER SWEET!!! You'll love it!

meganmecrazy - you and I flopped locations. I'm originally from PA, just north of the Burgh in Beaver County. I lived there growing up for 13 years, and have been down here 18 in just a few weeks!

OMG Brooke! I'm in Beaver County too (I was born in this area) then I moved to Citrus County, FL and lived there for 13 years and then moved back here to PA! HOW FREAKY WEIRD IS THAT!?! Same amount of years and all!

So, what school did you go to while in good 'ol B.C.?

That's crazy!!

You'll probably be one of very few who will know where I'm from --- Fombell. I still have "family" up there, I only talk to a sister, and she's in Ellwood, but I have other family scattered all around there, and into the panhandle of WV.

I went to Marion Elementary, which isn't even there anymore, and then Riverside Middle. Left just before my 8th grade year.

Was just in that area a couple days ago. I have a friend who lives there. I'm in Rochester though. Hey, if your ever up in the area visiting relatives and if you remember, contact me and we could do lunch or something! :)
 
LOL Megan, you'll have to come visit me. I havn't been there since my dad died in '03 and I have no plans to go back. Estranged from my family I guess you could say.

sorry for the late reply. hadn't been back for a few days, and find this board difficult to navigate.
