I`m digi grounded (and Saturday is coming!!!)

I know... Is pathetic to be a grounded adult but is the true!
My Credit Card balance came a couple of days ago and guest what (insert mistery music here) I've spent almost $300 in digital supplies just in June... $113.74 of those were at the Sweet Shoppe (I spent $130.60 in May) so my lovely hubby took me my credit card and I'm in the middle of a digi supply starvation.

So far I've been 5 days clean... but the Saturday is coming!!!
What am I going to do, what am I going to do???
(pant pant!!!)

Well, feels a little better getting it out.
I know, I have a problem... but all those kits are soooo cute

BRB need to apply to Zoe's and Julie's CT Call!!!
 
I hear you....thankfully I haven't been THAT bad (sorry, that sounds bad, LOL) but it's SUPER depressing that I worked hard to earn my coupon and now won't be able to use it like I want to :( Blah...I do feel your pain :(
 
Girl I so feel your pain. I'm working on my willpower, and REALLY trying not to spend. I didn't buy anything last week (despite REALLY wanting to, lol). And I've got CT stuff this week so I shoul dbe able to hold out until I get my rewards.

So now I have to actually go SCRAP so I can try and get that 40% like usual, lol!
 
And look at it this way, you already own half the store :p

You've got PLENTY of supplies. And like Misty pointed out recently (and I've been trying to remind myself of), it shouldn't be about the supplies and the latest and greatest. It's about the memories and preserving them. I bet if I didn't buy a single kit for the rest of hte year, I still wouldn't be "missing" something that I "had to have right that instant".

I do hear you, I really do. I promise. But. You. Will. Survive!
 
Oh, I feel ya! LOL, I've grounded myself! I'm going to *try* not to buy this weekend. Sounds bad, but we decided to try to cut a few corners to save a bit this summer, and well, scrap kits are one of the corners. BUT like some have said so far, I've already got so many awesome ssd kits, and even a few I haven't used yet, that I can wait a bit to get the ones on my wish list(which will be bigger after this weekend I'm sure). I'm hoping if I can do really good until then, dh will be ok with me buying with my 40% a few of the kits on my list! I know he'd have no major problem with me buying, but I want to be good and take advantage of my coupon too-that will make me feel better about buying a bunch of kits!
Wow, does that even make sense? LOL :)

I hear ya! I spend money from my DH's account and try and hide the statement! LOL There are too many "Paypal" withdrawls listed...

My husband just caught me spending too much when the last credit card bill came!! He never looks at them because I take care of the bills, but he happened to get the mail that day and just wondered what the balance was! He said, "what are all these paypal charges on here?" I was busted LOL!!

So, I am trying to be very good and I didn't buy anything last week :( You're not alone :)
 
ooohhh one of the only perks of being single, LOL
no one to fuss about what I spend on scrapping stuff.

I'm putting a freeze on myself to only spend when I can use my sweet rewards. just because gas is getting so darn ridiculous that digi stuff is going to have to take a backseat for now.
 
oriana you are too much but i can definitely understand...i actually grounded myself because i buy it and i don't use it...i just like to spend $$$$
 
ROFL. I'm with ya girl. Grounded. But, see, my hubby knows SSD doesn't count. If nothing less, I get at least 15 dollars a Saturday and one kit in between. And then most weeks a bunch extra ROFL. But, trust me, I get ya on the over spending craze! My friends think I'm insane. But it was actually me that digigrounded myself (that post a week and a half ago?) I'm trying to organize everything and use it. In just a week and a half, I've transferred my knowledge from being a PSP user to a PS and Image Ready user, I've organized my internet bookmarks, made some things finally and only browsed a little bit. My friend digi grounded herself to (she said she's having major withdrawls and may binge this w/e! lmbo) I did manage to buy the Shabby charity kit though :D

Being guest CT this month for Melissa Bennett help me a bit to stay clean (boy that girl also takes big chunks of my money... LOL). I've busted my a$$ scrapping for her, so she may consider me for another month (June is almost over bwaaaahhhh)...

I really need to start shopping in my own stash... I'm comeletely sure I'll find stuff I didn't knw I have... LOL
 
I've been digi-grounded by DH before- but he took the laptop, not the cc! Not sure which would be worse for me! :unsure: Here's hoping you get to use your current stash and save up for July! :)
 
LOL Oriana! You just need to be really sweet to hubby and make him so yummy meals and maybe you can get it back! ;)
 
I spent the last of my allowence on books and a latte last week, so there will be no shopping for me until after the 1st of the month.
 
Ouch that's a lot in the past few months. I would be grounded too. But think of how much you've gotten in the past few months that you need to use.
 
Need as in NEED... well I don't need noew stuff... LOL
Actually 90% of my scraps are using CT stuff so that is why I never use what I bought. Plus shopping is like a compensation for my lack of mojo... LOL

when i'm in a scrapping rut..nothing better than shopping and collecting kits huh? lol I do it too (not to the tune of 500 kits lol but maybe 2-3)
 
I think a lot of us suffer from this. I think Friday should be official "Scrap with what you've got" day here at SSD (while we wait for the new kits, of course! Wouldn't we all feel better about splurging if we had acutally used something and scrapped a page or two?)

Who's with me for next friday?
