When they're too cute to punish...

So DS Connor (2 1/2) was playing upstairs in his brother's room while DH and oldest DS were upstairs in the office on the computer. **note: I was downstairs doing dishes**
About an hour later the boys all come downstairs and I go up to the office to check my email. Thats when I notice that the bathroom door is closed. Its never closed. So I open the door and see that my precious toddler was NOT playing in his brother's room. Rather, he was in the bathroom happily unrolling THREE rolls of toilet paper into a big fun pile on the floor. ((thank god he didn't put it in the toilet))
SO... I call him upstairs and show him what he did and before I can say anything, he turns around and holds out his arms and says, "I think I sorry mommy, yeah?" with the cutest little "I'm sorry, but you know i"m cute" look on his face. I just smiled and told him in a fairly stern voice that we do NOT play in the bathroom and that we do NOT play with toilet paper.
But seriously... he was just too cute to punish. :)

No, I didn't. I thought about it for a second, but the bathroom was messy and I didn't exactly want to "capture" that on film for all of eternity. lol

Awwwww SOOOOOO cute!!! I know all too well about that too cute to punish face...mine's a pro at it (he's also 2.5)

Ohh I think is a 2.5 yo thing... mine is all the same. And works not only with me but also with teacher's at pre-school... LOL

ROFL!!!!!!!! of course he is too cute to punish...did you think he'd just let you get away with an easy mommyhood. LOL!!! i love that boy.

Kyle's only one and he's already figured out how fun it is to pull all the toilet paper off the roll lol! We are constantly telling the girls to remember to close the bathroom door after they are done in there, cause if Kyle's being quiet chances are he's in there emptying the roll! Or even worse putting his bath toys in the toilet lol!

LOL! Oddly enough, my Connor (also 2½) did the same thing today. It was only 1 roll here though and a wad of it did end up in the toilet. :glare: The rest was scattered around the bathroom and down the hall. Must be a Connor thing! :p
