I don't get it...

I only dare to post this here and not on my blog. Knowing my family, once they find out what I’m talking about they’re gonna wanna see me in person (i.e. webcam) or maybe even pay me a visit.

We’ve been here in the High Desert for over a month now and I have a little nit to pick. I swore off the scale at my house a long time ago but lo and behold there’s one at my new workplace. So what do I do I weigh myself at least once a week. My weight hasn’t changed since we got here, but my clothes fit a little tighter. WTF? Please tell me it’s just water since that’s the one thing I do a lot more now is drink water. I know it’ll help if I exercise but who has time to do that between family, work and digiscrapping???? LOL!!! Besides, it’s only July and I have five more months to fulfill my New Year’s resolution.:p
 
It probably is water or a slight little shifting (comes with age)...I hate scales! I think it's sad that people are motivated by a number and not how they feel about themselves (yes I'm talking about me)
 
Hi Flo!

There are many reasons why your clothes might be tighter even if you weight the same. Could be that you've "shifted".

I wouldn't stress about it too much. Try adding in some walks to your routine.

It's really more of a comfort issue for me as far as the clothes. I'm not one of those who are comfortable in wearing two sizes smaller. Love my clothes loose. I guess I can't wait til the winter to start my walks, but just wait when the sun goes down. :)
 
I know there is nothing between us except for Joshua Trees....but we really should get together. I'm off for the rest of the summer. :)
 
Extra ass my butt. You probably didn't even have one to begin with :p

Walk up hills and do stairs! From doing my training walks I haven't lost any weight, but my butt is getting much firmer! I'll take that over lost weight anyday! LOL!
 
This is sooo cool. You have no idea how homesick I am and just wanting to meet new friends here, much less a fellow digiscrapper. Would love to do meet up somewhere in between. Maybe at a Starbucks or something?
