Ever been hit with a Huggies repeated times??

Landen is on day 2 of the potty training...He is standing beside me as we speak hitting me with his diaper going..."I WANNA WEAR THIS DIAPER", "I LOVE MICKEY MOUSE, CAN I WEAR THIS DIAPER NOW?"
and
when he isn't doing that...
He is holding it 1 cm from my face going..."SEEEE" "SEEEE" "MOMMMMY-SEEEEE THIS DIAPER-I LOVE IT"
Dear lord...give me paitence.
Now we have started the "CAN'T YOU HEAR ME?" because I am ignoring him totally!
 
Oh good gracious, the things we put up with for those we love :p

Tell him he can wear it. On his head. Since he loves it so much :p
 
hahahahhahaha I can laugh b/c Ryleigh still wears pullups..but lordy I can just imagine when I take those away

at least diapers are soft and don't hurt when you are smacked with them :)

LOL, I didn't know a kid could love a diaper so much.

I'm sure I would have given in by now.

It hasn't been easy-but I'm more sick of diapers...changing them-buying them...having to have them with us when we leave...I'm sick of DIAPERS.
 
I have the opposite problem. L.J. LOVES his underwear but doesn't understand you're not supposed to poop in them.
 
oh no shannon! that has to be one of the funniest things i have heard in a long time!! your toddler actually admitting he hearts his diapers. ahahahha!!!

Don't be sorry-If I wasn't the one getting hit by Mickey Mouse...or could draw a Huggies from memory from having it 1cm from my face on and off for the last hour then I would be laughing my ass off too.

We're on day 2 of potty training too and at this point I'd rather Kaylee be doing that than her crying her eyes out screaming "diaper! DIAPPEEEER!" She had so many accidents within a 10 minute span I just put one on her :( We'll see how it goes after her nap.
 
Oh good Lord Shannon! I think I'd go insane. Can't say I miss the potty training days. My stubborn little miss independent refused to go until a month after she turned 3. Seriously we tried everything and nothing worked. When I gave up, she was ready. The good part of being a late potty trainer was that we had almost zero accidents. I think maybe 2 at night the first 6 months and that was it. Go figure?
 
Annika was stubborn too. I ended up bribing her with M&M's for every time she made something in the toilet. The babysitter was so mad at me and once asked, "How long are you going to giver her M&M's?" I said until she's 25 if she needs them!! LOL

We only gave them to her for about 2 weeks, btw.
 
LOL! I always kept the pull ups out of reach out of habit so mine were never able to get their hands on them.

We went with the no pants at all approach to potty training. Mayhem liked his bare butt so much that a year later it is a stuggle to get him to put underwear on. He's commando as I am typing this.

I may have to get those to keep Diego and Superman company!
 
I *think* we're on day 3. I've lost track. lol. K keeps asking for a diaper, but I'm just telling her she doesn't need one, since she's a big girl. :) She's nekkie right now, b/c she thinks panties are just like diapers *eye roll*. I hope this is over soon!

Mickey underwear, that's a good idea!

Lily was also stubborn about giving up her diapers. And she'd just hold her poop until she had a diaper so I'd always give in. BUT now she is fully trained, whew.

Well, we started potty training when my dd decided to try and change her own poopie diaper. Yeah, that was the end of that!

what ever you do just DON"T GIVE IN!!!

I took all of the diapers and threw them in the garbage while Josh watched me, Mommy meant business!!! After he was sleeping I went and got them and hid them but he never wanted or needed them again

oh mimi!!! owen use to do that tooo it drove me nuts lol.....and owen runs around nakie all the time it's a fight to keep unders on him with company lol
