Kit Requests...

I thought I'd start a thread for anyone who has a specific kit request, and just maybe some of the amazingly talented designers here might make some of them for us ;-)

Here are the specific kits I'm really wanting right now:

- '50's retro diner kit. Not country kitchen, but classic 50s diner. black, red, white... polka dots... retro appliances, retro signs, mom & pops wordart: Pop's Greasy Spoon, Mom's Diner... etc

- Road trip kit that is not American. We're going on a family road trip across Canada in August and I really, really want a kit that I can use that's not too american. Something with lots of family trip graphics, wordart etc. maps (for different countries?), suitcases, family car all packed up, generic road signs, camera graphic, journal graphic, etc. Wordart: "are we there yet?", "taking the scenic route", "pit stop" etc.

- Anyone else have some kit requests/ideas?

ummm I know Dani has a kit I think that has some of the feel you want.....and paging miss bettie by Traci Reed would fit part of the bill too for that 50's ish feel too it. Oh and Julie Billingsley has a cool travel one with maps and airplanes and stuff. i am supposed to be working or I would hook you up with links and pics, but they are all here at SSD :)

Yes, I do! I need to scrap a hybrid album for Christmas using some Disney photos and I also want it for our trip next year and the fact that my son loves Mickey Mouse so he's got pictures with his ears on.

I would love for it to be the classic Mickey, red, black, white, polka dots, etc. Obviously it can't be Mickey Mouse, but something to work with Disney. Just not Disney Princess-y stuff.

I know for a fact there are two kits coming this weekend that will be good for boy theme park/disney kits and retro diner stuff ;)

I am still wanting a "make your own" clippie element pack with lots of cool hangy clips of all kinds... and also with some ribbon pieces and bows of sorts to 'customize' them.

I want a kit called Chunky Monkey... a boy kit with mokeys and monkey word art :) We have two little chunky babies in this house I love to scrap :)

yep I second that. I have some pictures of my son who loves to climb trees (I call him my little monkey)and I havent found one that I really like yet.

Another thing I want is something sorta country themed in a sunny yellow/dusty blue theme...with word art like home sweet home/my heart is in the country/take me home country roads...something like that. Not sure if that would be something anyone else would want though LOL

Stop the presses!! I am making a monkey kit..per Robin's request weeks back. I have a pic of her and her hubby with a monkey for inspiration. Stay tuned! :)

OH and the mini golf kit was going to be a scoops with KCB and I, but it didn't work out. :( I think someone else might do this one. :)

I just want my figure skating kit LOL

I have lots of ideas for it, and TONS of pics as you can imagine. But it needs to be "just right" LOL! I can tell the designer who tackles it what I need :D

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? :D :D :D

I'm mildly obsessed wtih Monkey's. I LOVE them.

I'd love a paper pieced monkey. Almost less digital, kwim? Mary Fran and Kay have great monkey kits, it's just not quite what I see in my head.

MANDA! You got that?! :p

Isn't everything I make paper pieced? :)

It never hurts to ask, huh? I want a gender neutral pregnancy kit that includes a good mix of patterned paper and solids. It could even be a baby kit as long as it wasn't too cutesy and would work for pregnancy. (For example--cute animals are great for baby pages, but I probably wouldn't use them on a pregnancy page.) I've seen a few here that I like, but I'm still holding out hope that the kit of my dreams will appear. (And if not, I suppose sooner or later I'll know this baby's gender and be able to scrap with gender specific kits!)

That's so cute, Traci!

I'd love a nice set for vintage photos. But I am sick and tired of those morbid dusty looking browns and blues. Vintage can be pretty, lol.

Definitely yes to that! I just took some pics of my girl smelling a rose that I put a vintage action on and I would love to scrap them but I can't find the right kit! Definitely need some pretty vintage stuff!!

I totally agree - I have so many scanned pics that I need to start working on

I'd love a golf (normal - not min golf) kit with lots of embellishments  pleeease (clubs, buggies, bags, balls etc)...I have very golf crazy parents LOL!

And I would also loooove to see a kit from Zoe Pearn with the glitter alphabet from "Savoir Faire" in lots of different colors (esp lime - yum!)....(like similar to what Misty did with the "Yummy Letters")

Id still like a potty training kit with lots of cute illustrations (panties with cutesy flowers, hahaha!) and word art like, :I did it!: Success!: I did the Number two!: LOL.

Misty's Summers End kit is beautiful, country and has those colors, but not the word art.

MISTY::: please make a matching alpha and some wordart

and don't forget those cute little boys undies out there with the pattern and the colorful trim outline for the legs and such! (no, I don't have little ones but I'm guessing this would be a great selling kit!!!)
