Studying for my boards

Ohmyheck, I need to be studying for my nursing boards and I just can't seem to muster the concentration. The date is coming so quickly and I am really running out of time.

There is so much riding on these boards -- the most important thing is that I don't think I will be able to go into the RN program in August if I don't pass my boards in July. It was SOOOOO hard to get into the RN program in the first place. I'll be just devastated if I have to give up my spot because of a poor score on my boards.

Please think of me and send good vibes my way. :)

Study hard!!! I feel your pain. I had a HUGE teacher exam a few years ago. I seriously studied for a year!!!! One of the things that worked best for me was getting out of the house. I used to love sitting at the local Starbucks while studying. :)

I SO feel your pain!! Take a step back, clear your head (walks do wonders for me) even if you don't think you have the time, get lots of sleep and organize the heck out of your study materials. :) I always find that breaking things into manageable chunks helps me recall things better on exams, like it's compartmentalized in my brain the way I studied it. LOL Definitely sending good vibes your way!

Girl! you can do it! But now that we got you addicted to digi.... the problem might be that you have to slowly BACK AWAY from your computer.... just turn it off for 15 min and see if that helps......
when the shakes stop... you can try 20 min the next time......... :p
{{hugs!}}

love the idea of studying at Starbucks. I also found that writing index cards help immensely. You know, write the term on the front - the definition on the back. Also do your step by step procedures that way too. when you study them, read the definition/procedure first, figure out the answer then check it on the back of the card. next time through read the term and go through the procedure in your head.

What boards are you studying for, if you're trying to get into the RN program? Is it an entrance exam or for your LPN?
