B-day invite idea's

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the hybrid section but I need some help and/or idea's :) My DD's birthday is next month and I would really like to make her invites or atleast the Thank you cards. Since I started digi scrapping last Oct. I really haven't done much other than scrap pages. I have made a few other things as gifts but they were always made into either 5x7 or 8x10 LO's and just printed on photo paper. Has anyone made b-day invites or thank you cards for a child's birthday party? I am really desperate for some idea's and examples if anyone has some they would like to show off. :thumbup: Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.I am so excited about trying something different. I think my daughter would get a thrill out of it too. :)

I've really only made one birthday invitation card. :) I'm sure there are lots of people here who can give you more examples! Maybe try searching the gallery for "birthday card" or "thank you card"?

 
Hi LuAnn! :) She is going to be turing 7. The theme for the birthday party is probably going to be Hannah Montana. LOL She has been waiting months for this...and LOVES HM. I know doing something HM themed for the invites (if I did them myself) would be really difficult. So maybe something "rockstar" (girly) related. She loves to sing and dance. I am open to anything though. I find it so hard to be creative with things like this. LOL
 
Here's one I did for my daughter.....Nothing too exciting because I was kind of in a rush doing it over the Christmas Holidays with inlaws here LOL.....but Ashley loved it so that's what counts! (I just scanned the princesses in from some from some of her books)

I had them printed at Costco as 4x6's glossy and they turned out really nice.

Dani's Pop Rocks Kit would be great for this!
 
See....I knew you girls were the perfect place to ask!! LOL I don't know why I didn't think of doing a search in the gallery *rollseyes* LOL You girls are all soooo helpful and inspiring! I love all the birthday kits! I am so excited to start actually brain storming for this now. Before I posted this I felt doomed. LOL


Oh and Cindy...I do have Dani's Pop Rocks kit (one of my favs LOL) and if I do something Hannah related that would be perfect. I should see what I have to scan.
