Installing Actions in PSE5.0

OK, I am such a computer DUFUS and cannot figure out for the life of me how to install the awesome FREE actions I got from Atomic Cupcake......any help for this computer illiterate chick would be great!!!!!!
 
Google is your friend.

Installing actions PSE5. First make sure that the "Show hidden folders and files" option is turned on in Windows. Then create a Shortcut on the desk top to:

C: Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>5.0>Photo Creations>Special Effects>Photo Effects

To install an action just create a new folder (if you need to), pop the .atn file (or files) in it and then drop the folder on the shortcut ... restart Elements and the action then shows up in Special Effects>Photo Effects.

Thanks Coleen, I got that part....this is where I am STUPID though....how do I turn on the "show hidden folders" thingy and do I have elements open when I do this and then restart? I really am a dufus I tell ya!!!!!
 
I'm on a vista OS and its under the Control Panel settings. I *think* it was under system and maintenance... I'll go check in a sec.
