....can you not get enough of lately?? For me it's Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown's No Air and Jason Mraz's I'm Yours. Oh and I'm really kinda starting to like that song by Duffy...something about begging for mercy??

I'm ashamed to admit that I love that dang Kissed a Girl song by Katy Perry. SOOOO CATCHY!!!

But to redeem myself, I'm obsessed with Mraz's "The Dynamo of Voilition" and "Make It Mine". The other day I actually put just those 2 song on a playlist and listed to it on repeat for about 3 hours.

Two songs on polar opposites are on my play over-and-over again list: "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry and "Breed" by Otep (which I think is better than the original Nirvana version). Followed by "Fly Me Away" by Goldfrapp, "Reign" by UNKLE, and "Cobrastyle" by the Teddybears and Mad Cobra.

well, since i'm totally obsesses with Twilight, i have been listening to some songs that Stephanie Myer listens to/thinks go with her books. So i got Dido's Here with Me (which is PERFECT i think; heartwrenching when you think of that songs with 'certain' parts of the books) and Time is Running Out by Muse (kinda liking a lot of their songs now, lol) I cant get these books out of my head and now i keep hearing these songs too.

i do like that I Kissed a Girl song too. cracked me up when i heard it the first time. it is very catchy. I love anything by Linkin Park too. And i used to be a HUGE Bush fan, so i'm loving Gavin Rossdale's solo songs like Love Remains the Same. And, might i add, Gwen is a lucky lady.

Lately we've been listening to the CD's of several bands that are local to our area that we discovered recently -
The Leo Project (http://www.myspace.com/theleoproject)
Seasons After (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=122957555) (love their cover of Cry Little Sister)
Alien8 (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=122957555) (love their cover of Alanis Morisette's Uninvited)

I've also been listening to 3 Doors Down new CD, love their new song It's Not My Time. We just got tickets to see them in concert with Hinder in September so I'll probably be listening to their CD's a lot in the next month or so!!

Sugarland's 'All I Want To Do' is definitely the song of this summer for me. The video rocks, too. I had BF Tivo it so I could watch it over and over for a week. *lol*

Also so loving the 'Beat It' remake & 'All Over You' by Spill Canvas has one of the catchiest choruses I've heard in a long time.

OK how bad is it that I didn't know one of these artists except the country ones and David Cook? LOL! I've never heard of this Katy person and that No Air song I heard once on AI.

I love
Our Song by Taylor Swift
Sunshine and Summertime by Faith Hill
and although I haven't heard it except on my Ipod lately, When the Sun Goes Down by Kenny Chesney is my very favorite summer song

I agree...Ive never heard of any of these singers or songs. But everyone in my house are huge country music fans so the radio rarely gets turned off of the four country music stations. Only time we hear something else is when they have 80's Friday night because I also love anything from the 80'sOK how bad is it that I didn't know one of these artists except the country ones and David Cook? Jason Mraz is on constant loop here! His newest album and one of his older ones (Live @ Java Joe's or it's called Live & Acoustic on iTunes) are pretty much all I have been listening to lately. I throw in Jack Johnson or Ben Harper to give my family a Mraz-break, although I don't need it! "I'm Yours" is officially referred to as "MY SONG."
