HOLY :cursing: My Fox station just went out (and ONLY my Fox station)...we're having some severe storms here, and the lightning is getting bad...but gol darn it, I just lost SYTYCD!!!!!!!!!!! (and so did my parents, they just called me to ask if we were getting it, because they're cable and we're satellite...we've both only lost our Fox station.). Son of a puppy, I am MAD now...:cursing:

Okay, guess I'd better get off the computer and check out the weather channel...thank goodness for YouTube...I've found the dances there before (when my DVR went haywire during the first episode this year)...I've had BAD luck with SYTYCD this year....Grrrr...I am insanely jealous of all of you watching right now!!!!!

well, as I finished this, we totally lost our satellite feed...I'm watching the storm roll in, and it's gonna be a doozy!

The judges comments are definitely interesting this round. I LOVED Chelsea and Mark's Jazz routine just now. I also love that song, and I know it from teh Center Stage soundtrack which Meg has never seen and I find that insane. :p

I missed the first hour because we were watching BB10, but I recorded it so I'll watch it tomorrow. I don't like them in their new couples! :( Courtney belongs with Gev and Kherington belongs with Twitch... although, I did like Comfort and Twitch's hip hop routine.

I've only watched 3 couple dances so far, but Lil C is really surprising me (in a good way) as a judge.

Just that there's something about everyone else that draws me in some howm and I still want to see dances from everyone else.

So if my dream comes true and Comfort + a non-Mark guy is eliminated (one can dream, right?), then Mark will get either Katee or Courtney next week! Even though I did not like Kherington at all this tonight, if she left I hate knowing there's a chance that Comfort could get paired up with Mark. Yikes! I highly doubt she's going to get another hip-hop if she survives this week. That would be 3 weeks in a row for her.

Yes I'm blabbing. As time goes on, my opinion of Kherington is going down and my opinion of Courtney is going up. I was entranced w/Kherington during the audition...but she seems 'smaller' on a bigger stage. Whereas Courtney has just wowed me.

in other random news, my fox station just went *pffft* again...and there's no storms to blame tonight (the ones last night ended up mostly going around us, btw...a town about 15 minutes away got 6.5 inches of rain in just an hour or two, though...)...thankfully, it waited till SYTYCD was done tonight....whew!

okay, so kherington going instead of comfort is bizarre, but honestly - she wasn't likely to be in the top 4 anyway. it's just annoying that we have to watch comfort for another week. and i have a question for all the dance lovers out there...does anyone else think that some of this is just a little bit fixed? cause seriously, what are the odds that katee and will got the pas de deux by the choreographers that nigel couldn't shut up about? they're pretty much the only ones that could have pulled that number off that well since they're the most technical dancers. and you could tell how thrilled nigel was to have those guys choreograph the number for the show, so it was hardly going to go to hip hoppers. 'random'? ummm....i doubt it!

I don't think it's random AT ALL. That's why I think that Mark will get Comfort next week. And while we're at it...why not make Nigel a guest Choreographer next week and let them choreograph Mark & Comfort's routine :thumbdown:

No, no...Nigel can't choreograph, because then he can't judge, lol...and we all know that Nigel and Mary HAVE to be on there every week. ;)

I don't think it's purely random, BUT, I do think that it's sorta random, lol. Like...they probably give each couple a different hat to choose their dances out of, so yeah...Katee and Will got that technical dance (which probably wasn't put in anyone else's hat) BUT, they could have easily picked something else from the hat. Does that make sense? So like...each couple has 5 dances in a hat, but they're not necessarily the same dances to pick from.

I think they've scheduled the choreographers for each week already, and they try so that you don't get the same dance 2 weeks in the row and a different partner each week after the top 10 (until it's not possible to get a different partner). I don't know about season 1 and 2, but I highly doubt season 3 and 4 (the ones I've watched) are random at all. For the most part...I don't think they are trying to screw anyone (though they may have favorites ;) ). It didn't surprise me when Gev got Chelsie...she's the next shortest after Courtney.
