Help with Crunch Time templates!

I just bought MMartin's Crunch Time templates and I am so excited to use them...but I can't figure it out! There are instructions, but I must just not know how to use the color replacement tool, or the 'replace all pixels' command. Does anyone have these that could make a suggestion? I have CS2. Thanks!
 
I have CS3, work in Photoshop all day, and I was so illiterate when it came to these templates. I just gave up on them, but I should have asked for help. I hope someone can help you (and me LOL).

sweety those are the psp instructions, you should see a txt file in there those are the PS instructions :)
