Will someone please tell my 5 month old that it's too early

Determined little guy :) My first crawled around 5 months, so it can happen. My second, now 7 and a half months and otherwise very active, shows no interest in crawling. She whole-heartedly believes the world should come to her.

Trust me, they don't care. Tell him what you want. Mine's 7 and a half months now and thinks it's time to walk. He's gotten all brave thinkin he can stand by himself and he cruises around. He can't stand to sit still! It's all move from here! Not much longer and you'll have a lil walker!

OMGosh how cute!! I love watching babies figuring out how to get their bodies to move the way they want. You will have a baby on the move from here on out it looks like. ;)

Thanks ladies you all are too sweetie!!

Misty you would think that with 3 older siblings (two of them being girls and "little mommy's") that he would be the same way!!

My other 3 crawled anywhere from 7 to 8 months. I guess Gman knows he is the last and wants to be the super star of the family!!!

Oh and Pam I need to take a close up of the thighs and show you he actually has one that's fatter then the other and the crease in it is so deep it's hilarious!!! :D :D

Oh, how cute!!!

Derrick crawled at 4 months and walked at 10 months, 3 days. Rhett is taking his sweet time - thank goodness!!! He started crawling at about 8-1/2 months and is almost a year and hasn't tried walking yet. I'm not ready for him to walk... even though he crawls anywhere and everywhere.

Oh - so adorable! And you're in that funny spot between being really proud, and really sad he's trying so hard to grow up quickly! You have tons more experience than this first time mom -- but here's our story, so take those cute roll pics now -- our DS started crawling at 4 mo., was cruising at 7, running by 9mo, and all those cute little rolls fell off somewhere and haven't shown again. He is a total perpetual motion machine which keeps us hopping!

Sooooo cute!!

My neice is 9 months old and doesn't roll over...she can, I'm told...but she just thinks "WHY would I want to do that" lol...so never did it more than a few times. She can sit up though. I wonder if she'll learn to crawl at all, since she doesn't like tummy time, lol.

heck no!! that rules and hey it's better than me. i was WALKING at 6 months, running and climbing at 9 months. never crawled...who crawls...that's crap. LOL!!!
