UGH..my lappy

With all this talk about laptops not working, my lappy decided to join the crowd. All of my usb hubs decided that not only do they not like the EHD, they don't like the mouse, or anything else!!!

I took it into best buy this morning and they said it will be about 2-4 weeks before I see my lappy again. :(

I'm seriously upset because I use it mostly at work. The new school year starts on Aug 14. All my lesson plans, teaching materials, etc. are on there. And because my ports aren't working, I can't get the stuff off!! :(
 
They say that, Samara, but they lie. They have to tell you 2-4 weeks. My guess is that you'll have it back in a week or a week & a half. Mine's been to geek squad 5 times. I know these things. LOL

I so hope you are correct. On the internet you never read good stories about BB, only horror stories!!!

Yes, listen to Sara. I've seen her go thru LOTS of dealings with BestBuy :p

is that the kiwi Mimi laptop tote I see in your LO? I really wanted kiwi but ended up with black.
 
That happened to me earlier this summer - I hope you get it back sooner - HP had it back to me within a week of me sending it off.

Yeah, that WAS the kiwi Mimi tote. The handles broke and the shoe repair store wanted to charge me $50 to fix it!!! I have the purple bag too, but I've been using a great bag from Brookstone, black on the outside, lime green on the inside.

Well I need to join the club - I called comcast last week to come and fix our wireless internet connection because it hadn't been working on the laptop for over a month and when I went down to get the laptop it was totally DEAD. We have storms so bad here and the week before last we had some REALLY bad ones so we're thinking it got struck by lightening. Nobody had used it much lately since the internet wasn't working on it so I didn't even know until Comcast was coming to fix it. It is dead, dead, DEAD - NOTHING!:cursing:

I could tell you my horror story w/ them, but I won't. LOL The only other time that mine has taken longer than a week was when it would not turn on at all. The other 3 were a week to a week & a half.
