So Phin had his 1 month check today... he was born at 5lb 13oz in, like, the 4th or 5th percentile...

last week I took him off formula supplements and expressed breast milk and put him just straight on the boob (I had to get over this incredible fear about not knowing how much he was getting, I was so scared because he was so dang little)... so I was ANXIOUS...

today, he was 8lbs 9.5oz!!!! in the 28th percentile!!! YAY!!! I'm so happy!!! And he went from 17inches at birth to 22inches today!! that puts him in the 46th percentile on height!!!

I'm all beamy and happy. :thumbup:
 
yay bryn! don't ever doubt the womans natural ability to pump out milk!! you did it. yay phinny phin phin! :w00t:
 
Good job mommy!!! He's average size now. Doesn't it just do your heart good to know they're getting the nurishment they need?

I totally know how you feel.

naomi was 5,4 and 18" and it's so nice for them to grow (she's still small and that's ok!)

You are so rocking the booby juice YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phin drinks straight from the tap ;)

Am I horrible that I want to march into the NICU where that stupid doctor told me there was no way he'd keep weight on and I'd just end up bringing him back to the hospital anyway (she tried to prevent me from taking him home when he was 6 days old) and tell her "IN YOUR FACE"??
