Why do we have to have these creatures in our house!!!

I posted the other day about me finding them in the basement while I'm doing laundry or whatever.

Well, I hear a loud thump upstairs and I run up to find one of my kids fell out of bed and was laying on the floor. I pick Aubrey up and put her back in bed and I look up to find one of those big suckers climbing up the wall!!!!! WTH??!! Don't they know if they are going to invade my house they have to KEEP it downstairs?!?! :cursing:

OH and I forgot to add that I grabbed the closest thing I could find that was flat, which just happened to be the box of my new 1TB EHD, and hit it while it was on the wall, looked to see if I got it and all of its legs were moving really really fast. EEEK, I get chills! I can't stand those things!

I read someones blog before that said they keep some around because they are at the top of their food chain and will eat all the other bugs! I just want rid of them all!!!
 
Ack!!! I shouldn't have opened this before I go to sleep! I have seen way too many of those things at my apartment!
 
oh my sweet baby jesus....i think i just ralphed a little. i wish i could type this terrible face i am making right now! :( :blink: :huh: :confused: (it's all of those put together!) that is THE single most creepy thing ever!!! can an exterminator help you? where do you live that you get bugs like that??? omg, i am freaking out!

Editted: Okay, I see that its a house centipede.... so gross! Thankfully we don't have them here! If we did I would be shrieking and running... FAST! Ughhhhh!

Eeew, eeew, eeew, eeew!!! ICK! I can usually muster up enough courage to deal with most bugs, but that one would push me over the edge. Aaack! :eek:
 
OMG WTH is that? glad we don't have those around here....My whole attitude on spiders just change a great deal!
 
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! And I don't even know what that is!! Thank goodness we don't have anything like that here in New Zealand!
 
Yeah we used to have those in our old house..for some reason we called them silverfish? but anyway, the terminix man who would come once a month to spray our house said that they are actually good to have around b/c they'll eat ants and roaches and stuff...I still hated them though...I usually found them in our bathtub when the lights had been off a while...yuck!
 
We had those in my apt while in college. They scared me to death!!

Nikki, Silverfish have pinchers and bite.
 
OMG! I didn't even wait for the pic to load all I saw was the tips of the legs! UGH!
Well, I went back to look...and ewwwwww, that thing is even worse than a spider.

We have mole crickets here, have y'all seen those? They look like huge spiders but jump like crickets? They are super fast and harder than heck to kill? Those are my nightmare.

Oh but the good news is, lol..I read the wikipedia article on them and hey they EAT cockroaches and termites! LOL

Oh well I'm glad they weren't really silverfish lol...hey I'm glad you told me that b/c DH told me that's what they were and now I can tell him he was WRONG lol..I don't get to do that too often lol
