There was enough to send to locks of love and then some... :thumbup: I love it, it's pretty darn hawt! And I feel like 100 pounds lighter with this do! Hmmm, do you think my kiddos can manage to take a picture of me that actually has a part of ME in it! :D

I have donated my hair 4 times now I think. I LOVE it! And I lvoe the change!

I've done this quite a few times too and just LOVE the change! Back in high school is when my hair was longest! I will have to dig up some of those pictures too! They used to call me goldie locks! ROFLMBO!
 
I cut mine the day before yesterday also, but I didn't have enough to donate :(

I was trying to grow it, but it is very fine/thin and gets split so easily once it gets past my shoulders. Congratulations to you on being able to donate, that is just amazing!!!
 
Must be the time of year! I just did it too!!! AND LOVE IT!!! It feels so much better! Congrats to you, post some pics so we can see!!!
 
OK, soooo, I got my little girl to take pictures of me! They aren't great and I was outside getting all sweaty trying to help my hubby with the roof on the back of the house so no make-up and whatever but...

Before I share I have to be real and tell you, I'm not one bit of a hottie at all anymore (that ended quite a few years ago when I happened to double my weight) but I am excited about the way my hair looks & feels because I had not had a cut in 2 years and my thick thick thick (did I mention thick) hair was all weighed down and a mess. So, I love the change, although it isn't anything drastic.

I told the guy that cuts my hair that I need a cut that I can wash-n-go because this SAHM doesn't pick up a blow dryer or any iron unless I HAVE to. So he gave me some sweet layers that don't show up too too well in pictures. It's much nicer in person.

oh lol! Be nice to me! I'm quite sensitive and never post pics of my ugly self! My hair might be hawt but everything else is NOT!

That is my natural hair color. I have never had my hair colored before, but would love to get it done some day! Now, back when I lived in Florida, my hair was more of a blonder color but the sun must have done that to it.

Ditto the natural hair color... I call mine "sewage blonde" because its worse that dirty blonde but not brown either. And its curly. So I'm always dying it red or brown or getting blonde highlights and flat ironing.

Megan -Your hair looks great- and what's funny is that is your hair cut and it'd be mine grown out and I thought mine was getting long... :) Great pics by dd too!
 
Oh! That reminds me! My hair is not straight! He flat ironed it for me! I wish it could stay like this all the time though! I don't even know if I could flat iron it myself. I suck at styling hair, esp. my own!
 
It looks great! I have donated mine twice now (wish I had known about it when I was young) and am working on it getting about an inch longer so I can do it again.

Haha, that is the perfect description! I need to steal that one!

I don't have to do the flat ironing thing. I've got fine, straight hair that you really can't do much with. I'm soooo jealous that you've never died your hair, Megan! I can't remember the last time my hair was totally natural. :D
 
I love that cut on you!!! It's so hot! And you can flat iron. It's easy and I just have a $20 iron from Wal-Mart (revlon I think) and I've had it forever and it works so good!
 
Cute hair!! I just got a cut yesterday!!! Must be something in the air!! Your photographer is adorable!! She's great on both sides of the camera!!
