Date Stamp in the Gallery

Why is the date stamp in the gallery off when I look at someone's image? It says that the most recent layouts posted were done on July 31st instead of today and I know that some of those were "just" posted. I know it has to be a setting somewhere but I can't see where I need to update it.

It's the gallery not you It's off and has bee since the site makeover awhile back

I think the SSD gallery is set to sort by latest action... meaning if someone leaves a comment on an older LO, it bumps it to the front.
