So, I am not a snacker at ALL. I eat my 3 meals a day and that's about it. But, I've been wanting some easy, somewhat nutritional snack ideas. I don't really like to snack on crackers or pretzels or anything.... so help me out. What are some good, filling snack ideas!?!

Fruit and veggies, of course. My son is munching on dried fruit right now.

Fruit and veggies are always good. Low-fat string cheese is also one of my fave snacks. For on the go I buy granola bars to just throw in my purse.

Yogurt is one of my faves. Also Kellogs Cereal Bars with the fruit inside. Love those on the run.

Um, how do you NOT like snaking... and how come I can't be like that?

Are you pregnant? (Sorry, I just had to ask - when you said you don't usually snack and but then you are asking for snack ideas, it was the first thing the came to mind).

ETA: I forgot to give you an idea...sometimes I just have a small bowl of cereal for a snack.

Fiber One bars (yum!)
Hummus with cucumbers and wheat crackers (another fave here)
Graham crackers or celery or apples with peanut butter

LOL - I thought the same thing.

Bruschetta with pita bread is a fav of mine.

I usually just snack on some cheese...I don't eat sugary things for snacks because it doesn't fill me up so I try to stick with protein.

I really like rice cakes and granola bars. I also like just plain almonds.

I slice up a cucumber and sprinkle some lemon juice and pico de gallo on it... gawd, I could live off that stuff.

Thanks for the ideas! I will definitely use some of these!

I'm just trying to do little snacks to hopefully help me eat a little less at mealtimes. We'll see how that goes! :)

I LOVE to snack! :) I'm with the cheese, granola bars, 100 calorie packs (makes it so much easier to justify having something sweet!). I also got some small packs of microwave kettle corn (I think they were one of those 100 calorie things too) that was really yummy.

Most ideas I have are already here, but I didn't see walnuts or pecans :)

Frozen go-gurts are yummy and real fruit juice popsicles are always refreshing. And you know sometimes when you are hungry you are in fact just thirsty so I would increase your water intake as well!
