and I have like no money...we have tickets to see Mary Poppins, but I need somewhere cheap to eat, or I will be standing at a hot dog vendor sharing a dog with my wifey...anyone have any sugguestions?
you can usually find affordable places to eat in little italy. i can't remember anyplace specific, though. it's been 10 years since i've been there. i just remember that it was much cheaper to eat there than it was to eat at olive garden in times square. have fun! i am super jealous!
Ooooh how I love NYC
Anything NEAR Broadway is going to be expensive.
But any of the pizza places will be delicious and affordable. There's nothing like a good slice of NYC pizza I'm drooling over here just thinking about it! LOL!
i was there two summers ago, but we had loads of cash. lol jk!! i can't remember where we ate other than our one super duper pricey meal at tavern on the green. ya, not worth it. anywho. you'll find stuff. there are all kinds of little food shops with stuff you can afford plus there is always the wendy's value menu on 34 and broadway. HAVE FUN!!!!
I am jealous. I lived in NYC for a short while about 5 years ago. The food is delicious. I really like the Great Burrito (Mexican food) on the Upper West Side. (Amsterdam Ave. & 79th Street but don't take my word for it my memory could be way off.) There are tons of places to choose from. Have fun!
ooooh. new york pizza! there are tons of little delis & markets where you can even run in and grab some fresh deli meat & rolls & have a picnic at central park! i LOVE new york!
Oh my favorite cheap place is papaya king- they have them all over. You can't leave without having a New York hot dog and their banana daquiris are to die for! The recession special is like 2 hot dogs and a medium drink for like $2.50 or something.
Have fun! NYC is my favorite place in the whole world!!
I totally hear ya, it's my favorite place in the world, no joking...and I am glad to hear that Mary Poppins is great, I was hoping to see Little Mermaid, but if Mary is cool, than it will be worth it...and it totally sounds like pizza is going to be the way to go...I am getting excited!
