Woot! Back to school!!!

So after 4 years out of school.... I am going back!!! I am so excited! I found out today that I got approved for the grants I applied for! I will be starting off with three classes with room in there for study/homework time so I don't have to worry about it when I get home! I cannot wait to get back into it! Plus I will be able to talk to other adults hehe....

Just had to share my good news!:thumbup:

I am going back for Elementry Education. I am taking Math, HIS, and a computer class...only cuz I failed it a few yrs ago! haha

I'm currently doing 3rd grade!

I started in 5th grade, moved to 2nd grade, did a 2nd/3rd grade loop (my all time favorite thing to do)! Then we moved to another town and I ended up in 6th grade in a middle school for 7 years! Switched to 3rd last year!

I like all parts of each grade level! though looping with the younger kids was/is still my favorite thing!

Oh that's so cool...I am so nervous to get to that point hehe...my neice just started teaching this yr....she loves it....she teaches third!

it all goes by so quickly really! I still can't believe that 20 years have gone by! If i had stayed in the other town.. I'd be having kids of the kids I taught... scary! hee hee

AWESOME!!! Good for you! I'm an elementary teacher too. I left for 7 years to raise dd though and started back last school year. I was a Reading Resource teacher last year but we had MAJOR teacher/budget cuts and my job was eliminated at the end of this past school year. This year I'll be teaching ESE (Inclusion) and will serve grades 3-5. I prefer the younger grades (less attitude) but whatever . Good Luck!!!!
