Ok girls.. help me out

I want to purchase some good quality platic containers but can't afford tupperware but don't want to spend money on junk

I want to give my kitchen an organizing overhaul and really want to get containers to sort through different foods, fruits, dry stuff, etc

any reccomendations? ty!!

Kristin, I actually REALLY like the Glad ones. They are super cheap, if you lose them you won't cry LOL. I reuse mine a ton, and they are great!

Because they are cheaper, they aren't as thick as the Tupperware, but I still really like them.

I don't know how much tupperware is so I don't know if these are cheaper or not, but I absolutely LOVE my Trouve! Josie from IOD is actually one of the cofounders. They're kind of like tupperware except the lids fit to the bottom and then they nest all together - they stay so nice and tidy that way. According to the site they're having a deal where you can get one set (3 sizes) for 19.95 or 4 sets for $59.85. I always use them before any other containers.

I use the disposable ones so that when the leftovers grow a beard in the refrigerator, I can just throw the whole thing away.

That would never happen, though. My refrigerator is the epitome of clean and I'm right on top of things. :glare:

I have to second Trouve, but I think they are more expensive then tupperware, but they are worth the money. I swear mine are almost 2 years old and have had spaghetti and other tomato based products in them and not a stain in site...they still look brand spankin' new!!!

I use rubbermaid too..I have the set with red tops lol

Me too! I got this 44-pc set at Target on sale for $20. Had them for 2 years and they are really sturdy... haven't had any problems w/ staining (even though I've stored tomato sauce in them)!!

I love them and plan on buying another set since I've kinda lost them bringing food to potlucks and never got them back... lol!

We use the cheapo glad stuff, but also got a bunch of the snapware as part of an engagement present, and that stuff ROCKS!
