Anyone want a 3 year old?
Im so sick of the tantrums and attitude!!!!

Please pass the sedatives... not for her, for ME!

Awww....I completely understand. I've been away from my 3 yr old all week and while I completely miss him, it has been a nice break. Everyone warned me that 3 was worse than 2 and I didn't believe them. I DO NOW!!

I wish you some peace!

I totally agree...I am so sick of whining...I just want to escape!!LOL...
example: Tonight, 2YO wanted to sleep with a doll that belongs to the 4YO. This upset the 4YO, so we gave her one that belongs to the 2YO. That made the 2YO want it back, but the 4YO didn't want her doll back.

I solved that problem...I told them if they kept whining about the dolls, I was taking the dolls to sleep with me. Haven't heard from them since...LOL

I reckon!!! Everyone warned me too!
The reason their worse is because they are smarter I think, they know how to manipulate you.

Cheeky little buggers!!

All I can say is thank goodness she still sleeps in the afternoons!!!

Lucky me, i just get to visit my neices and nephews and cousins and leave! lol Most of the time i have to take exerdrin and pass out when i get home lol

lol I just said the other day I needed some of those! I was hoping it gets better with age... guess not :(

I totally know how you feel! At 2, they are more easily distracted. I am in a hotel room stuck with my 2 right now--both are cranky and on eachothers' nerves. Hang in there--Robin

Oh my almost 4 year old has hit a whole new level of attitude the last week or so. She'll be lucky if she makes it to 4! I'm ready to ship her off to live with Grandma, although that would probably make BOTH of them happy! :)

I always heard people say "terrible twos". With us, it was the terrible 3's. Mine never threw a fit until she was 3. That was THE toughest age far as temperment and getting her to follow the house rules, be respectful of people, etc....I think every kid goes through stages like that.
4 will not be as tough. Promise ;)

Aw.....just think...."It's only a phase.....it will pass"....but of course then they enter another problematic phase LOL.
I found 3's to be the worst with my dd too, which means i'm in BIG trouble because my ds is turning 3 in a couple of months ACK!!!!!!!!!!!

my little 3-and-a-half-years-old has his pre-puberty and and on some days I would stick him his mouth.
because I am sorrow of his eternal yammer and grump :cursing: ;)

Well it certainly is nice to hear that 4 wont be so bad!
I know a mother who has a newborn a 2 year old AND a 3 year old, thinking about what she's going through definately makes my day seem not so bad.

Ack poor thing! I had my three close together (so I had a barely 4 yo, a 22 month old, and a newborn), there was SO much crying at our house those first couple of years after Rae was born!

My almost 3 year old DD is doing great (pause to knock on wood) but my son who just turned 5 is driving me nuts. It's bad enough that anytime something doesn't go his way it's meltdown city... but he was acting "really bizarre" while MIL watched him so now she thinks he's a freak. And she has to watch the kids for a week (just during the day) while I head back for teacher workdays... argh!

At 5 he definitely knows better but so far, not much is helping. I had to take away ALL of his video games yesterday... pray it works!

So when you get those sedatives, pass them down... DS AND I could use them!

i need sedatives for my 4yo DD. sometimes she is just an out-of-control mean scary little person. :(

and my 7yo son has become Whiner Extraordinaire. :cursing:

My DD is almost 2 and its like she turned into a whiny bear overnight! I just want to escape- nevermind my kid going to live with someone else- can I?! haha

Right there with you...My 3 yr old has a scream that makes me want to tear my ears off, and now my 15 months old is out doing her...oh and my 6yr. old's whining never ceases. Thanks goodness for school starting right?!

I can commisserate. I'm not sure what's worse though - my 3 year old's tantrums or my 6 year old's attitude. Yikes.
