My daughter just called. She decided to drop ROTC from her schedule and get back into chorus. She was in chorus for 3 years in middle school and she is good. Not good because Im her mom but REALLY good. She auditioned and the chorus teacher put her into advanced women's chorus. I am so happy right now I am practically crying. I have so missed seeing her perform. Dont get me wrong I loved watching her in her ceremonies and performances with honor gaurd and drill team for the ROTC but I LOVED hearing her sing!! This means she is going to be performing again YAYYY!! (also might perform at Disney World for christmas too if she is one of the ones chosen!!)

Yes it is...the last performance she did was in middle school. She performed the song "Only Hope" by Mandy Moore. I was not able to hear her perform because we had some loudmouths who talked through her whole performance behind us and people were getitng up and walking around and stuff because hers was towards the end of the performances. She had dedicated that song to me and so it was really disappointing to me that I didnt get to hear it and really enjoy it. I knew it was most likely the last time she would be on stage and now she decided she wants to keep doing it.

She has been singing since she was about 4 years old. Id sing to her every night and I know I suck at singing but I think that kinda brought her love of music. Her first time performing was when she was 4 years old she sang either Dont Take the Girl or Dont Cry Joni for my sister and a whole bunch of her friends. They were all amazed she could do such a good job for someone so young.
