Yeah, so the thrill of the laundry room has died down, lol. Well, actually...the washer went nutso and bounced all over the room and knocked the dryer off it's vent hose...so it's on hold until DH gets home, lmao. We'll have to find a way to make that stop!

But, in the meantime...I attacked my kitchen floor. We're replacing all the laminate, and DH mentioned he'd like to do that tonight...but I got there first, hahahah. I just ripped up about 200 square feet of flooring...the only part that I didn't get was the stuff under the fridge and under the stove...DH will have to pull both of those appliances out so we can get to that.

But dang. I'm tired now, and sweating SO bad! Still, demolishing sometimes is therapeutic. ;)

LOL, awesome! :) I wish I could do something like that around here! Sounds like good therapy!

as we are in a constant state of remodeling it seems, i too can agree that tearing stuff up or ripping out things can be very theraputic!! I have tons of stuff left around here; come on over! lmao

/WOOT! Demolishing is totally theraputic! We need to rip up the linoleum in the hallway downstairs but I think Jordan is gonna do it all himself. He's not big on sharing :p

I love to do stuff like that, but I'm a chicken when it comes to doing it when DH isn't home...to afraid I won't do it "right," I guess. I need to get brave!:p

LOL, the whole time I was pulling up the boards, I was like...I hope he didn't want to salvage these, or I'll be in trouble. They're supposed to be a floating floor, but whoever installed it GLUED them down, lol...so um, yeah, they didn't come up easily. But, turns out DH was just happy I did the work for him, lol...no complaints that I did it "wrong". :)

I've got some carpet that needs pulled up in my bathroom if you're still in the mood. Yes, that's right, the bathroom. Who thought that was a good idea?

 on the demo. Sounds like things are coming along!

I wouldn't be allowed to do it myself...DH would prolly think I'd do it wrong. Same with painting the walls...I've never painted before. First when I was young my mom thought I'd screw up then DH does the same thing now. Oh well...fine by me...they can do all the work. LOL

No such luck here...I worked with my dad in construction from the age of 10 until I was 17. I know how to frame, drywall and paint, lol. I learned a few years ago how to lay carpet, and now I've learned to lay laminate flooring. I still let DH do a lot of the precise work because while I want it to be perfect, I can't bother to take the time to do it, lol - so he does. :)

I can paint and stuff, but I don't. LOL I also don't wallpaper. No patience. The only thing DH won't let me do is vacuum. He says I do it wrong. So.. fine.. he can do it.
