My baby is going to preschool!

I just got an email, a spot opened up for Rae to go to preschool here (it's a small private school, the only one available).

I am just a mixed bag, she's my BABY, how is she old enough for this? (She'll be 4 in November). And on the other hand, there will be certain parts of the week where I'll be home ALONE.

With Amelia starting Kindy this year, and now this, I don't know if I should be excited, or just cry!

I have to go school shopping for Rae now, since I didn't get her anything, because I wasn't sure if she had a place or not. She doesn't even have a backpack! LOL

Congrats on her getting a spot. I am sure she will have such fun.
My son started Mother's Day Out this year. He only goes 2 days a week but I really think it will be so good for him since he will start kindergarten next year. It was also hard for me. I was so happy for him on one hand but then on the other I am just a bundle of nerves. I guess the one thing I worry about the most is some little kid being mean to him because he is so passive and sweet and will just take it.

I know she'll do well, she'll be my third one to go to this school, but she's my last baby, and it makes me so sad. Then again, I will have some time alone...that thought is a little exciting LOL

LOL, Jamie! I know what you mean -- last year Colton (my youngest) went 2 days a week and I had no clue what to do with myself. But this year he is in PK and I'm totally loving some alone time!

I'm sure both of you will love it! My second starts preschool 2 mornings a week this year, so for 5 hours a week I'll be ALONE! Well, that is until the baby is born in December, LOL.

I'm glad to hear she got a spot! I know how hard it is when your littlest goes to school -- way too quiet around the house at first. But, those hours alone are priceless!
