It is a SAD day for DMB Fans!!!!

As some of you may know I am a HUGE Dave Matthews Band fan and I found out last night that the AWESOME sax player LeRoi Moore has passed away. I am so sad.......I don't know who they will ever find to replace him, he can play just about any instrument, he can make a plastic recorder sound like heaven!!!!!

I wondcer what happened? If he had already been home from the hospital for a few weeks after the accident? A blood clot maybe?
 
Don't have any details yet....maybe we will never know :(

I am a HUUUUGE DMB fan also and I have been so sad since I read this yesterday. :( They will never be able to replace him, Leroi was amazing, and so talented. He brough such a beautiful sound to the group. :( I am hoping that they release something of what happened but I certainly understand if they don't. He will surley be missed.
 
This was very sad for me...DMB played such a big part in my life during my HS and College years. It is a loss for his family, the band, and music in general.
 
Oh no. That's awful :(

They'll never sound the same. Now I must got listen to my massive DMB library in mourning.
 
OMG... I hadn't heard! DH and I are huge DMB fans... they are sort of part of how we got together, so I've always had a huge sweet spot for them.

Oh I'm so sad, he was such an amazing musician!
 
oh no!! thats not good. one of my dearest friends is IN LOVE with DMB she sees them twice every year. once in kc and once in st. louis. sorry for the loss! man...that stinks!
 
They actually went on and played their show last nite too....I don't know how they could but I guess that is their job and the fans want them no matter what!!!!!
 
I heard that show on the 19th was the best one they've ever done. My hubby is a HUGE DMB fan. We have books and books of CDs and DVDs of live DMB shows. He was so sad when he heard. He read it on one of the fan message boards right after it happened. It's always sad when someone as talented as LeRoi dies. The only good news for DMB is that they guy who has been sitting in for LeRoi is super-talented. While it is definitely sad, I don't think that it will be anything but business-as-usual for DMB. just my opinion...
