I go back to school in the morning...I have three days of professional development this week. I am freaked out though, because I won't be able to check in as much as I have...what if something mind blowing happens? Thank god I got that Blackberry:thumbup:
So with that, wish me luck, I think I may go through withdrawls tomorrow.

LOL! I can commiserate. My first day of teaching was today and I was so busy that I didn't get lunch, so forget checking in here.
 
oh no!!! what?!?! can't you incorporate 10 mins of forum time for every hour of teaching. we can make the site more educational if we need to. hell...this is practically webMD already.
 
aww, we'll miss you Aaron!! Have a good first day though. I SO do not miss my classroom. I thought I would.. but.. yeah.. no. LOL

We started 2 weeks ago and it's been exhausting!

In my twelve years of teaching, I've never had a group quite as low as this one. Lessons that would normally take my class one day, take us four. My partner (we switch out for Science and Social Studies) keeps asking me HOW I do it. I've been coming home and taking a nap. The kids are really good kids, but man, their skills are seriously lacking.
