Isn't it amazing how one moment..one phone call, could turn your once playful and happy mood into a really REALLY sour..angry..frustrated and outrageously sad mood?

This is what happens to me lately when I talk to my Mama. She really is working my nerves.

I absolutely know what you mean. Been there done that with my various family members more times than I want to think about.

Oh no! I'm sorry!

My mom never says anything mean or bad, she just ends the conversation quickly or starts talking about herself when I needed to get some things out--so this is the outcome of our convos many times too.
 
oh honey my mama has worked my nerves every single day of my life and has only worsened in the 5 months since my daddy died...so here's a HUGE hug cause I know how ya feel!
 
Ok, Here's a big Hugs for ya, I know "moms" can be irritating but sometimes I wish my mom was back to irritating me instead of the way she is now (Alzheimers)
 
This is why I don't talk to my mom on the phone. If she wants to talk to me she gets to text or IM me.
 
Yeah ... it is so sucky when a conversation or something small just rattles your mood. I was in a great mood until I took my kids shopping tonight. We NEEDED groceries, and we needed supper ... so we went to Wal-Mart's Subway and then got groceries. My kids weren't behaving that great, and by the time we got home I was ready to cry and just ship them off to bed. So yeah ... I know what you mean about how one moment can just screw it all up. :(

I'm lucky, I get along with my mom wonderful. However, the rest of the family is a different story. I actually have a pretty sign near the door that says "friends welcome anytime, relatives by appointment".
