Lying around is boring....

I know, I should never complain, because as soon as I can stand for more than 5 min, I will regret this, but holy cow....I'm BORED. I have been lying around for two days now, yesterday was fun, I scrapped and got mostly caught up, but today it's just boring.

I only have one kid home, the other two are gone, so there is so much I could be doing here, but I'm hurting too much to do anything. DH even has dinner started.

Am I nuts to be bored? I don't even want to scrap, now that I can't do anything, I have an insane urge to clean my basement :cursing:

ahahahaha!! isn't that how it always goes. now that your stuck there are a million and one things you want to get done! rest, you weirdo.

Yes it is sooo hard to lay around when you know there is so much you can (and should) be doing! But you need your rest!!! Try to enjoy it! Hope the pain goes away soon!

I've been there, felt that! I've had a couple of surgeries where I was put on bed rest for a couple of days and after the first day, I was bored out of my skull. Get DH to get you a book from the library or bookstore. Or a couple of movies you've been wanting to see for a long time. It's not perfect, but they might help a little of the boredom.

Just relish in it Jamie! Soon enough you'll be wanting to have this time back! Feel better soon too!

I sooo feel for you! With my last pregnancy I got put on bed rest for the last 2 MONTHS of it. The first day was awesome...then I wanted to go wash my windows or something crazy. Hang in there girl.
