was rather anticlimatic for us here. It went well south west of us and we are just now getting some of the outer rain bands...we've had a few tornado warnings in surrounding counties but at my house it's barely rained and just breezy conditions..I'm very thankful that this one wasn't as bad a Katrina..even for the coast and new orleans which is great.
 
That's great Nikki! I was thinking about you this weekend. We got some pretty good wind here, and the tide was super high from the surge, but no major weather here either.
 
Well I may have spoken too soon..I just spent the last hour and a half huddled in our half bath under the stairs with Avery b/c we've had tornado after tornado today. It just keeps coming and coming. I wish it would get out of here already!
 
The tail end of it hit my parents, but they are ok thank goodness! I am so glad you & Avery are ok Nikki!! Sorry about the tornadoes! One thing I HATE about hurricanes is those and they always seem to come.
 
I know! It's just been warning after warning all day...we've been under a watch since yesterday and it goes until at least 4 pm today. I just get too nervous with bad weather. Right now it's settled down so I hope it stays that way.
