Anyone that watched the Republican National Convention

This is not related to politics but rather something I saw that was adorable at the RNC! Did anyone see when Palin was giving her speech on Wednesday? At one point they zoomed in on her youngest daughter who was holding her baby brother. The little girl licked her entire palm and then smoothed down her sleeping brother's hair. I about died laughing. How cute?? A little mommy already!

Yeah, I was glued to the t.v. for both conventions. One more so than the other. Ehem. Cough.
I feel so sorry for the daughter. She's been under so much scrutiny, as if being a 17 year old, being pregnant, etc... doesn't destroy your hormones enough already- the poor girl now has to be under so much pressure. I just would love to send her a card and a note of encouragement or something. They seem to be a sweet family.
 
that little act of licking her palm and smoothing his hair made them seem so "next door neighbor-ish" .... wonder how many times that little girl had that done to her to know to do it to him LOL...

I too feel sorry for the 17 year old daughter who is pregnant. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for her. Ok, I look like I am a teenager and when I was pregnant with my son I used to get dirty looks like I was a skank or something lol. (It didn't bother me... people are judgemental and I don't care) but after my experience, my eyes totally opened up to what it must feel like to be a pregnant teen!

At least she seems to have a supportive family! That will help her a lot.
 
Yeah, I thought it was really cute too...my DH thought it was kinda gross. I was just like...dude, you gotta be a Mom to appreciate that kind of stuff!!!!
