Wild Cherry M&M's

M&M's were not meant to be fruit flavored. *blegh*

Cherry COL...CHERRY...Come on...I hate peanut M&M's if I wanted chocolate covered NUTS I sure don't want that crunchy shell around um...
CHERRY...I have this great recipe for Chocolate Cherry Chip cookies...they are normal chocolate chips with dried cherries in them...then you dip half the cookie in melted chocolate chips with cherry flavoring...I could and have eaten the entire batch. I'm not ashamed to admit it...LOL

On one hand, I *do* love chocolate-covered cherries. So that has to be a good thing, right?

On the other hand, I agree with Col... M&Ms are not supposed to be fruit-flavored. Gimme a huge bag of peanut M&Ms and a Diet Dr Pepper any day.

Don't be torn Libby-they rather taste like chocolate covered cherries without the dribble down my chin...from that cordial.
 
i might have to side with Col on this one.

and Shannon . . . I am deprived, never having experienced wild cherries (except for Lifesavers).

actually something may be wrong with me. I seem to have lost taste for M&Ms. Those giant bags at Costco don't tempt me like they used to. So strange.
 
Shannon! Why didn't you tell me about this before?! I :wub: cherry and chocolate! I need to find these little treasures!! Have you had the Cherry Cordial Kisses? Those are SO awesome! I must go find those M&Ms to compare. :)
 
See the main problem here, is that I don't do cherry. Anything. LOL!

Chocolate covered peanuts, ok by themselves.
But ADDING a sweet crunchy coating to the mix? HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH!

Yeah, don't think I'll be trying them. Though I probably won't get a chance because they never bring the new flavors up here. Remember the white chocolate ones a couple years ago...they went with a movie? Yeah, never found them up here, so Laura (scrappinsweetie) tried to send me 2 packages and they SENT THEM BACK when they got to the border, lmao. Dude, not fair!
 
I'm not a cherry person at ALL. Actually, I'm not a big M&M's fan anymore either. I probably just ate so many of them, I made myself sick of them LOL

as a side note. . . . we had a girl from Austrailia at CPR, and Jessica Sprague handed out Hershey Kisses to the class, she hated them! WHAT?!

LOL, probably because Australian chocolate is like WAY yummier than US chocolate. :D Canadian chocolate is pretty good too. The gov't (FDA type agency) doesn't allow as much wax to be used in chocolate in most other countries, so it's got a way better taste. ;)
 
I love cherry but I just don't see M&M's without chocolate fun. I love the peanut butter m&m's but cherry with no chocolate? That is just wrong!
 
I have to say, fruit flavored M&Ms imo seem just wrong,lol.
However....

I am boycotting M&Ms. Why? Nascar fans know. Kyle Bush's sponser is M&Ms. I hate him, so M&Ms are sadly off limits.
 
Cherry M&Ms just doesn't sound apetizing to me. I'm not a huge chocolate & fruit person anyway, though I do like chocolate covered cherries. Wierdo, I know. NOW, DH tells me I should NEVER try the Peanut Butter M&Ms... cuz I'll be addicted after the 1st one.
