Brittney on VMAs?

So, who else is DYING to see if she'll actually perform on the VMAs tonight? Call me crazy, but I'm still rooting for her. I've enjoyed watching her perform since the beginning... I don't think she's the best singer, but I love the way she dances (when she's trying). Anyway, things have been looking up for her lately and I saw this video of a recent rehearsal session and she's looking MUCH better than last year. I'm really hoping she performs and does amazing. I can't help it, I'm a fan.
 
I feel so old. I NEVER used to miss the VMA's. I didn't even know they were on tonight! Lol!

I won't be watching because it's a sunday in the fall, and football rules my life :p But on the upside, I don't think it can be any worse than last year, lol.
 
I thought I read on OMG that she will be making an appearance but not actually performing. On another note, I also read that the VMAs were trying to get Lindsey Lohan to make an appearance so that at the end of that song "I kissed a girl" the singer kisses her. Why must they do that? Geesh.... I'm rooting for Brittney too! I saw her on an ad for the VMAs and she looked great!

On a side note - Yay!!! It's finally FOOTBALL season!!! Go Steelers!!! football rules my Sundays too!!! :thumbup: By choice LOL hehehe...
 
Yeah, she's not performing.. I was hoping she was going to..but she IS opening the show I heard! I'm still rooting for her too, I'm happy to see her "coming back from the brink" so to speak :)
 
I really feel for the girl. I have always liked her. It made me sad all the things she was going through. I'm so glad she's getting her life back on track. I hope she's on the show, performing or not.

Also, can i just say, the girl looks good! I wish i had her body, lol.

I really want to watch the VMAs. But the Colts' opening season game is on i think at 8 tonight so i'll have to watch a rerun. And i'm actually starting to get in to football. I will sit and watch the Colts with DH. Our new Stadium ROCKS!
 
Everyone loves a good come back story. As much she made me cringe with her behavior and choices I'd love to see her pick up the pieces.
 
I'm still holding out hope that she'll surprise everyone and actually perform.

Eve, it's on @ 2:00am for me too and if I don't watch tonight, I'll have to wait til Wed night when they show the reruns. Grrr! lol
 
I've been busting a move alot lately while listening to her last album. You can REALLY move to it. :)
 
ya, i mean she blew it in a way no human with that many opportunities to succeed should! still...through all of it, i would LOVE to see a happy ending!
 
Wow, that vid of her rehearsal is pretty awesome! I'm another one who would really like to see her get it together and make a huuge comeback. I didn't realize the VMAs were on tonight, I'm gonna have to check that out!
 
I would like to see her succeed again too. She's had it rough. She can be rich & all, but I wouldn't trade that for my happy childhood, kwim?

And I personally believe that she had/has post-partum depression. All the signs were there, and instead of anyone helping her, I think they fueled it and pushed her down further. The media is as much to blame for her downward spin as she was... just my opinon though!

I totally agree! There was NO way she was in her right mind when she downward spiraled the way she did! I hope she does perform tonight and do an amazing job!

I very much agree with you there...I feel sorry for her. I think she was an awesome performer and I really hope she has an awesome come back. I very much enjoy listening to her and have always loved her stuff! I just feel really bad for all the stuff the media has put her through.
