Blog Header problems, please help :)

I made my blog header and it's shaped, so I am trying to add it with a transparent background and every time I try, it ends up putting white behind it!

Any suggestions?

are you saving it as a .png? That will keep the background clear!!!

I did, but that isn't working? It keeps putting white behind it... I'll try again, just to make sure.

It isn't working at all... instead of placing the image in my header, it isn't accepting the code.

So this is weird... I forgot to click "shrink to fit" and it worked as far as the transparency goes...but it was huge and off centered.

Your header is a png, but it looks like you saved it with a white background. Check it out in whatever program you made it in and make sure you are using an transparent background.

Ok, thanks...I think I figured it out. Apparently it doesn't like me clicking "shrink to fit"... so I resized it to 660 pixels wide, and didn't shrink it, and it worked...

Who knows why... but as long as it works, I'm ok ;)

Yeah, I checked the background a million times...and it was clear. It must be something with their "shrink to fit" button, it adds the background for some reason. Thanks!
