Is it too early to talk about Halloween Costumes?
My Son Dylan LOOVES Halloween - He wants to start decorating NOW...lol

He is 3 1/2 and wants to be EVERY costume he sees...lol
He would really like to be a robot - Has anyone seen any good ones?

What will your child be?

We're doing POKEMON!!!

Rae already has hers, she will be Pikachu.
Amelia's is on the way, she will be Mudkip.
Benjamin's is on the way, he will be Ash Ketchum...the Pokemon Trainer.

LOL

My oldest 2 are looking at either the Star Wars or Power Rangers. They are both so into the super hero kinda thing and yes, my oldest one is a girl. She is so funny! They change their minds like evryday so knows what we will actually end up with!

Now, not so much. Although I do think that putting out decorations and candy at Sam's Club in AUGUST might have been too early. LOL

Bub is going to be a fireman and 'baby brother' is going to be a dalmation.. I don't think I will be buying the $50.00 fireman costume from Costume Express though.. I'm working on Nana making it *fingers crossed*

Oh KEL - That will be SO ADORABLE.
I can't wait to have two that I can match up like that.

Dylan would also like to be a power ranger and he has never even seen the show. I guess it just LOOKS cool....lol

My oldest (DD 9) wants to be a woodland fairy or a vampire princess, not sure which we are going to pick. DS 7 will probably be a Jedi again. DS 5 will either be Mickey Mouse or a Jedi and the baby, DD 15mos will be a bumblebee or a strawberry.

Nothing is a hundred percent yet. The older ones change their minds daily. So I guess I will hae to wait and see.

OMG - Look at THIS - I just came across it and hadn't seen anything like this before. Now if only he had a Princess....lol

It's NEVER to early to talk about Halloween if you ask me! My boys want to be super heroes this year and I dress up with them every year! Such a fun time of year! We decorate the last week of Sept so the countdown is on!

I'm having a rough time with costumes this year. JP has no clue how he wants to dress, and Devin wants to be Father Time. I can't find a child size Father Time costume and I definitely can't sew one on my own! He won't hear of being anything else either...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Not too early at all, I already got some princess costumes at the Disney surplus store. Mckenna will be Ariel again and Cheyenne is Cinderella. I just have to look for something for Piper.

My kids want to be like a million different things. It's going to be hard to pick just one! But we do have a Ninja costume here at the house along with a Spongebob Costume (he was Spongebob last year though). And Aubrey had princess costumes here! Who knows?!?!

I posted this in a thread yesterday but I've already picked out, ordered, and had a mini photo shoot of DS in his costume...so nope not too early in my book :)

I was sooo afraid that Natalie was going to want to be a princess again, but we came up with a great costume: Fancy Nancy...for those of you who don't know, Fancy Nancy is a series of adorable little girl books about a girl who lives her life "fancy." I am sooo excited to make it for her, because she is totally fancy herself.

Kiki has decided to go as Miss Piggy. Ever since we saw them at Disney, she has been all about Piggy, so I guess I'll give it a shot. Worse comes to worse, we have tons of princess stuff here.

Definitely not too early LOL! I just picked up some Halloween costumes yesterday!

I think Tristan is going to be a skeleton (or maybe Spiderman) we have both costumes so we'll see which ones he goes for. Julian is going to be a skunk LOL! I picked up his costume at Old Navy yesterday, it's got a little heart on the but that says Lil Stinker. It's so adorable. The only one I'm not sure about is Gabriel. He's got special needs so he's not into anything specific and I'd like to avoid scary or superhero stuff. Maybe a fireman or a police officer?

My kids haven't decided yet either. I decided on Pebbles and Bam Bam but they are not so much going for that.. and all the costumes I've found are ugly.

i thought me and my son were straight and he would be a fireman but now he wants a saber he saw so i have no clue what he will be...a fireman with a saber most likely....

I think this will be the 1st year that I don't match the girls' costumes. We always had a theme in the past. I thought we were going to do Velma and Daphne from Schooby Doo this year, but they changed their minds... and then when Riley decided she wanted to be Dorothy, I tried to talk Regan in to being the good witch, Glinda, but it was a no go on that one too. Oh well, I guess they have to grow up and become their own person at some point. sigh

Sadly, my kids are teens and a tween. My dd is probably the only one who will dress up. and she's beyond cutesy - and being 11 she wants to do goth LOL.... I love Halloween for all the pumpkins, witches, bats, etc. and if hubby would not give me grief, I'd have Halloween as my decor throughout my house year round!!! Have you seen the awesome Halloween bedding, halloween bathroom stuff, plates, etc they know have out???

so far all the costumes I've seen in this thread are just adorable!!!!

My question is ..... which of YOU are planning to dress up and as what? We dress up for work each year so I need to get planning! and I want to go to a Halloween party this year somewhere! One year, before hubby and I were married, we did Raggedy Ann and Andy LOL....
