My child is driving me NUTS!!! Already this morning he has climbed into the refridgerator trying to reach a can of coke I had opened on the top shelf and spilled it everywhere...then he took his not quite empty capri-sun pouch...set it on the floor and STOMPED ON IT!! Which of course sprayed capri-sun everywhere (thank goodness we have hardwood) and THEN he went in the laundry room, which he KNOWS if off limits, pulled down the FULL bottle of laundry detergent and poured it ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!!! I found him slipping and sliding in it let a wet seal!! Yes, I know I should have gotten some pics but I swear at that point I was just about to blow my top with him. It's like he knows I'm moving slower now and it takes me longer to investigate what he's gotten into...I need 10 minutes...just 10 minutes of get it together time. and it's only 10 am!!! (that's not including the 30 minute temper tantrum he had this morning b/c he didn't want eggs for breakfast he wanted cookies)

Oh goodness, he's really giving it to ya today isn't he??
(((((Nikki))))) You can make it through today!

omg, my days are like this almost everyday; and i have 3 kids lol. well, Chloe is 5 so she doesn't make the messes that the younger two do atleast. Aidan loves to get into the fridge and dump out ketchup, syrup, etc on the kitchen floor. Emma and Aidan both will pull a chair up to the counter and get stuff out of the cabinet. I came in there one day to them dumping bisquick all over. they've dumped sugar, nesquick, creamer. my kids are so ornery! they also like to sneak into my paper/hybrid elements and put my stickers all over them. that makes me mad!! what a waste!! lol.

i hope he doesn't get as bad as my kids, lol. he must be having one of those days!

Yikes. *hugs* I've had days like that with my kids too. How about a movie morning? I'm not generally a fan of TV babysitting the kids but on days like that sometimes we all need a little break from each other. ;)

Hang in there.

Oooohh I'm so sorry! Tomorrow will be another day. you can do it!!
I have crazy days like this too... we all do... you can make it through!

my son (2 tomorrow) is also a handfull as my daughter is just 9months.....anyway, when I need sanity I put him in his crib with toys and music to "play" and he enjoys it for a while. sometimes he just needs good discipline, other times I think I could be more pro-active and avoid some stress, outside, art, designated tv time, etc

Niki, I completely feel your pain.. unfortunately, just wait.. when the baby gets here, it might get worse. I know my 3yo has been tough on me at times too... especially the first few weeks his brother was home. My baby is 5 weeks old now but it's still really hard to keep up with my 3yo's antics.

sorry your having such a crappy day already!

Thanks everyone..I've calmed down now but I swear my blood pressure was through the roof. Getting that laundry detergent up was a nightmare and I still didn't get it all b/c a lot of it went underneath the washer and I can't move the thing so I have to wait til my daddy can come over and help with that. The whole house smells nice and clean now though lol

Kelly I'm soo dreading dealing with him when the baby gets here...he's gotten so much more strong-willed in the past few months...I'm sure his daddy leaving has a lot to do with that. Lord just give me strength!

{{{{hugs}}}} Nikki...I have been there too!!! CALGON needs to take you away for a bit...hope you get some downtime this afternoon

Man I feel for you. Sounds like yesterday with my daughter. She was mad and crying about everything. She's been totally out of character since school started.
Hope your day gets better Nikki!

Aww (((Hugs)))......I'm sorry he's testing you.... :(
I did giggle, just s SMALL bit, at the temper tantrum over eggs, not cookies, because Elle is having that same fit, but hers is because there is a candy wrapper empty, and i cant seem to make candy magically appear...
Crossing fingers for a better day tomorrow!!

I say next time..just give him the cookies :p

(((hugs))) I can totally see one o fmy kids flopping around on my laundry room floor. Knock on wood that doesn'te ver happen lol
