I know, Christmas is a few months off yet, but I like to get finished before November. Actually before Halloween, lol! Anyhow, we did some shopping for Keira today and I think I've gotten her everything I know she'll love.

She hasn't gotten into Barbies yet, she has the loving family doll house, tons of babies. Anyhow, here's what we got her and he Kaboodle list, any other ideas?

We got them Cooper is on here too.

Keira's List

WOW that's some list!
My daughter will be 3 1/2 at Christmas, and we have bought her this tree house. Maybe we're in the minority for families here, but we spend less than $100 on her for birthday or Christmas right now. She's stilll more content to OPEN packages right now! We'll probably also get her a few of the Pigeon Books by Mo Willems (Don't let the Pigeon drive the bus, The Pigeon finds a Hot Dog, etc.) as they are her absolute favourites and we take them out from the library constantly.
We might get her a groovy girl, or some small animals to play with, and probably clothes too...
I try to have most of my shopping done before December 1st. The kids are easy. DH and I always buy ourselves something together, (like a big thing, or something for the house) and then one or two little things.

I am also an early shopper. I have most of Xmas done. Just waiting to buy some Leapster 2s and I will be done. And getting DH a cordless drill. I am never xmas shopping after Halloween! The only thing that I will have to finish up is the calendar I do every year! I have twin boys so I am no help with little girl stuff, sorry!

Abby's already made her list for Santa. She wants a dollhouse and a baby. I do the bulk of my shopping on Black Friday.

Wow that's a big list! I usually have all my shopping done by the end of Sept but this year I don't even have anything bought yet, I have to get a move on it! I only have a few ideas of what to get the boys, I know I want to get some vtech and other learning toys for Cash, but that's the real extent of it.

You could stock up on Halloween costumes and give her a "tickle trunk" (dress-up trunk)...my daughter LOVES to dress up! She's 4 now but we've got a couple princess outfits (Cinderella and Tinkerbelle) that she's had for a couple years.

My 3 year old LOVES anything Dora and baby dolls. For her birthday a few weeks ago, she got the Dora Cuddle 'n Care twin dolls (she named them Sara and Toby after Labyrinth characters LOL). For Christmas I got her 2 sets of outfits to put on them. I'm not sure what others will get her for Christmas, but I think I'll buy her some books, some clothes and maybe a toy or two. I love the Dora's Magical Castle, but I've never seen it here so I don't know where I'd get it.

Thats what we did last year, went wild at disneystore.com on costumes.
They mark them down to such a steal after halloween.

My girls are 4.5 and almost 7 and they are mostly into Barbies and Bratz dolls right now. And of course every single commercial they see on TV right now is "I want that!" so I've been compiling a Kaboodle list of all the things they've said they want and then when I shop I'll pick things from their list. There is no way they'll be getting everything on their wish list (unless we win the lottery lol), this year we'll probably only be able to spend $100-150 per kid unlike last year's $200-225 budget per kid. But it's nice to have the list to give ideas to the grandparents and aunts/uncles too.

Thanks for the ideas girls!

I'm hoping that when Target opens next month I'll get some great clothes for her and maybe one or two small gifts.
