Have any of you created your own?? I would love to see them if you have. I am working on my son's and I'm just not happy with it. It's just not 'singing to me' Thanks! :)

Here is the one I did for my daughter.

Here's the one I did for my son, mind you I did it 2 years ago before I had even started scrapping. ;) I prefered just the 1 black and white photo, but my dh liked it with the other photos, too, so that's what I went with. THe blank spot is our last name.

LOL... Yeah, Jamie and I pretty much eat, sleep, and breath announcements!

I did my youngest son's as a trifold and I LOVED it, but they can get pretty pricey... I don't think I have it on this computer either.... I'll try to post from the desktop!

I am working on my daughter's right now... this is what I have so far, but I am far from being done!

I love looking at these! Here is the one I did for my daughter:

The examples ya'll have shared are gorgeous and inspiring.. making these announcements seem harder than doing a LO! I would love to see more!!

these are all great! The last one I did was 4 years ago - before I did digi - all cutting and pasting and bow making and vellum printing. I can't believe how much work they were LOL

Beautiful announcements! I have to start thinking about DD's. Here's one I did 2.5 years ago for DS2. That bow looks pretty dated compared to today's elements, but I still like the style of the announcement.

I am just ticked off because I didn't know Photoshop until AFTER I had all of my babies, so they had sucky announcements. I just want to go back now, and do them all over LOL! Or have another baby LOL :D

I had just started doing siggies when Keira was born. I made hers too, but not so good. LOL!

I had such a hard time doing Logan's announcement... I think the pressure of everyone knowing that it's what I do for a living was just totally choking me creatively! I went with the trifold, as opposed to a flat card, to push me a little bit out of my "work" mode.

How fun! I of course can't see any of these adorable baby images and I'm pouting right now but I'll definitely check back at home tonight! Jac and Jamie that's got to be the BEST job! Getting to 'semi' scrap for work and all those cute babies!

Also, who did you choose to print your announcements and why did you choose them? Sorry for so many questions :o

what size did ya'll create the cards.. 5x7? 4x8?

I made DS2's 5x7 so that they'd match DS1's (which I didn't make). We have their announcements framed in shadowbox-style frames with a clay handprint from when they were infants, so I wanted them to match.

I printed mine at home. Not sure yet if I'll do the same this time or if I'll send them out.

I printed mine as 4 x 5.5 to fit my invitation envelopes. I printed them at home, but I also print at Wal-Mart cause its easy.

Here's the one I did for my son last year. I even made the dotted paper - that was before I realized you could BUY cute papers. lol They were 5 by 7.

Oh, and I had mine printed through Winkflash. They're cheap and fast and those are the main things I was looking for at the time. :p

Kat.. our boys share a birthday, except Kieran was born this year. Beautiful cards BTW.

LOL! I read that on your blog the other day and was going to post a comment and got called away from the computer... It looks like they were born close to the same time too. Rhett was born at 12:22 p.m. but we were actually scheduled for our "c" at 10:30 a.m. Your blog post brought back a LOT of memories!!! :) It's a wonderful date, isn't it!!!

It's SO nice to see itty bitties all day, even though it sometimes gives me bad baby fever LOL. Ours are more graphic style though, not scrap stuff.
