Did your BIL get that house? You might've posted an update and I missed it.

I was gone with a bunch of my girlfriends this past weekend for a bachelorette party, and my situation came up and it reminded me that your BIL had moved in and was driving you crazy too, lol.

One of the girls (brides' SIL) said to me "So there's a possibility that you'll go on your honeymoon next year and come home to him?" I almost started crying. I'm so sick of not being comfortable in my home!

Haha... NO.


BUT - DH basically told him at the beginning of August to find another place to live because Derrick was getting ready to start school and we were not having him sleep on the couch. So, we went on vacation from the 10th to the 17th and he was gone when we got back. :thumbup: He rented a room from some guy until his "LOFT" is done being built...

My BIL is a total weirdo. He wants to live in a loft with brick walls and stainless steel everywhere else with his 2 Dell plasma/lcd/whatever tv's and get a little mini dog to keep him company....

Not my idea of a "home" but to each his own I guess.... I'm just soooo glad he's not at my house anymore!!! However, I am still storing his crap (2 tv's, 5 guitars, an amp and a Bose speaker system in my bedroom) until he gets his loft - whenever that may be.

I hope your BIL moves out soon Col! Can he not rent a small apt or room from someone for a short period of time?

Hahahahahha omg he sounds like my BIL! LOL!

My girlfriends didn't understand why his company wouldn't put him up somewhere. I think he just never asked, and said oh I'll just go live with my brother.

We don't know anyone here he could rent from, and he can't rent an apt month to month (they all require 6 month leases first, then you can go month to month). So. Yea. He's not going anywhere anytime soon I don't think.

My BIL just came to visit, and while he is a great guy overall, it wouldn't take him long living with my two kids before he'd be willing to live ANYwhere that didn't have small children. Maybe that could be your next line of defense, Col.

One thing is for DANG sure. I am NOT returning from my honeymoon next year to him still living here.

I wish that WAS an option Kellie! LOL! But I don't think Jordan will go for it. If he has to move in 5 years we might use that as a defense though (good lord, he'd be 34 by then! Ugh, I don't want to think about!).
