I'm so annoyed at mypictales.com

I placed my order on 9/06.

On 9/08, my order updates to say "Two 8 X 8 images are of print size 12 x 12 and will be cut off when printed to smaller size. Please let us know how you want us to proceed." I got an email the same day asking if I wanted a refund for those LOs, or if I wanted to re-upload.

I replied saying that apparently I forgot to resize those to LOs, and that I could re-upload them or they could give me store credit for my next order - whichever was easier for them. No reply.

On 9/15, my order updates with a duplicate status (says the SAME THING as the 9/08 "update"): "Two 8 X 8 images are of print size 12 x 12 and will be cut off when printed to smaller size. Please let us know how you want us to proceed."

I emailed saying the same thing that I did on 9/11 about me re-uploading, or giving me store credit.

I still haven't gotten a reply, and my status hasn't been updated since 9/15.

I don't know whether they just haven't replied to my email b/c the LOs are being processed, or what?? It's been 2 weeks since I placed the order, and I have no idea what's going on with it. A reply back or a status update on my order sure would be nice.

YIKES! I have heard a lot of ppl. have had their emails lost out there in cyberspace somewhere when trying to contact MPT... lol! Are you replying to the emails they send you? I've always received responses within a few hours... they ahve just been having so many problems with their "contact us" page...

As a last resort, you can PM Prathiba (username PicTales) at DST and she'll probably take care of you.

I think they are just in way over their heads in orders....that $100 coupon sucked a lot of people in LOL. I placed an order with them on 8/31 and still don't have it. I got a shipment notice 9/7 and waited a week stalking my mailman every single day - finally I emailed them and said hey - something's amiss here lol. They admitted that they think they shipped my order to another customer - I was really really upset.:thumbdown: The idea that someone else got my layouts with all my photos and journaling on there really bothers me. They are supposedly reprinting my order and refunding my money....but 4 days later I saw no evidence of either so I emailed again today...same story, refund will be processed "soon" and my reprint of my order is "in queue". At least they are replying to my emails.

If I don't have a refund or my prints by Wednesday I'm filing with paypal.

oh, that's not cool. I emailed them because I didn't get the supposed coupon for an order placed in August, and it took two weeks to get the email back to me - and the email had the coupon code, but basically said "I'm not sure if anyone read and responded to this email or not, so I'm sending you the code again just in case". So it sounds as if there are a lot of people checking the email, but not a lot responding!

I think they are just in way over their heads right now. I haven't had any problems with getting in touch with their customer service. I put my order in on Sunday of last week and they were mailed out today. But they were all 8.5x11 so that may have something to do with it. As soon as I get my order I will be posting a review on my blog. I would love to have links to other people's reviews, good or bad. If you have a review you want linked, send me a PM.

I doubt I'll end up using my $100 coupon. I don't want to put the time and effort into resizing my layouts when I haven't seen the quality first hand and at this point it seems like it's going to be a far great hassle than it's worth. :thumbdown:

ETA: meredith - If I ever get resolution - say my prints or my refund or whatever - I'll likely do a review for my scrap blog and I'll send you the link.

so far I have not been impressed with everything I have read. I am more than willing to pay a little extra to Scrapbook Pictures since I know I will get what I ordered and it will be top notch quality.

I use Scrapbook Pictures and they looked awesome and I always get them in record time. I think Scrapbook Pictures rock :thumbup: I just make sure to pay attention when they have sales and place my order then. Who can beat 2.00 shipping no matter what size your order is :thumbup:
