Shutterbug Shakedown question

I cannot seem to find an answer to my question in the FAQs. So, what I need to know is, how recent must the photo be for this challenge? I don't bake at all any more since it is just DH and I. I can't or should I say shouldn't have sweets because of my diabetes (I cheat once in a while) and DH doesn't NEED them. So all I have in the way of pictures are ones taken cooking holiday meals. HELP!

They are supposed to be a new picture actually for that challenge. If you have a recent one that will be fine, but we really prefer for the picture to be new/specific to the challenge.
