Check out the story I wrote for Naomi!

(and a sneak peak!) ;) I wrote a social story for Naomi to help with giving up her binkie. Since we have been rid of the kiki, I've read her this story whenever she asks for it! She is really enjoying the story about her! Incidentally this was the craft Naomi and I were working on when David called about family day last week! So we sort of dropped it and ran but we finally finished it and here's her social story! It's using a great kit by Fee that's coming out this week too!

Here is the finished product:

and a random page from it:

and here is all 8 pages in digital form:

I glued pink cardstock to the backs of the 4x6 photos and laminated them because Naomi is really rough on things!

For the record, Naomi doesn't have a spectrum disorder but I think these books can be helpful for all children!

Thanks for letting me share! This was such a hit I think I'm going to make one for potty training and other milestones we hit!

OMG... I LOVE it and can I TOTALLY BORROW your idea?? Abby will be 3 in Jan and was without her paci for awhile, but just recently about 3 of them surfaced when I cleaned, so I think, this would be a GREAT idea as well!!! now do you have any potty training tips!!!!????

OMG that is so cute! I'm having issues with Rae and her sippy cups, she's almost 4 and being so stubborn. I wonder if this would work!

I love this! It's adorable!

that is so cute!! I never had a problem with my kids giving up their binky's mine all gave theirs up when they were six months old. Might have been really great for potty training though. I think it would have helped my sons a great deal!!

omggg how cuuute

I totally need to do this. We'd taken Ryleigh's binky away but when Teaghan came along she found a few of course so she's back on it...it's soooo hard to take it away esp when I have another kid that uses one.

Awww, that is the cutest thing! Awesome idea! My girls never used binkies, but I think it would be cool for other milestones!

YOu are soo brilliant and creative, Lena! I love it! See, this is the kind of thing I *think* about doing. YOU actually go and do it! You're awesome!

What a great idea! Ava is having some issues giving up her "sucky thing". Its so funny all the different names people have for a pacifier.
